The night we met

People had always told me that I was selfish, and I always declined and never believed that and let their words affect me, but now I can't stop myself from believing it
Considering what I'm about to do now,

My brothers were out, and Leo and Jeremy had an emergency meeting, and they had to leave, Enzo and Kyle went out saying that they had something to take care of and that left my twin brother and I alone in the whole mansion

I already checked on him to find him asleep in the cinema room so I put a blanket over him and went back to my room to pack my suitcase and get some other stuff

I had already informed Anni about my plan, and she was more than ready to help me get out of the house

I come to the decision that I will stay at Anni's apartment for a few days until I wrap my head around the situation
I still can't believe how easily I moved in with my brothers,
And trust them enough to show them parts of myself that I had hidden deeply in me

That leads me to the conversation that I had with Leo yesterday

"Why I can't understand you? Why don't you share things with me?why are you trying to ignore me at every chance you get?"He said all of this in one breath and looked at me with a sad expression

I sighed,I didn't want to make him feel like this,It was never my intention to

"Look, Leo ,I don't know how to tell you, but I wasn't the most friendliest and caring person before I met you guys again, Now that I came to think about it, alot of things had happen and there isn't even a month since I came back and started living with you guys,so maybe I need some time alone for a while" I said and looked at him with a little smile at the end

But I couldn't make out his expression. I saw a hint of pride and sympathy but was quickly replaced with a confused and almost panicked look
"I hope that you don't consider to leave us,right?"
He said, going straight to the point

I was quickly to deny
"No,no, I just mean that it will be good to spend some time out of your guys' sight for a few days,I will probably stay at Anni,but I would still call you to assure you that I'm still alive,but just for a few days them I will be back" I said a bit nervous about my rushed decision and my oldest brother answer

But to my surprise, he smiled and stood up and opened his arms to me,and I hugged him tightly while he stared rocking us left and right
His hugs are always so comforting I must admit that there is something fatherly in them
"I'm happy that you shared your thoughts with me rather than keeping them to yourself and as much as I want to lock you in your room until you are 50,you are already of age to decide what is good for you
I can see that everything was a bit overwhelming for you, and I added to it by telling you what to do, " He said, and he pulled out of the hug to put his hands in my shouldered and look me in the eyes

"Maman and Papa would be so proud of you ,they always wanted you to be confident and sure in your decisions
But instead of them, God forbiddened me to take care of you,and even though I don't show it, I'm very proud of the person you've become, even without me being able to look after you,but you had managed to live on your own very well by the way
And whatever decisions you make, I won't try to stop you. "
He smiled at me and removed the fallen tears from my face

"I will come back. I promise It will be no longer than four days, I just want to collect my mind. " I said and hugged him again

He sighed and cupped my face in his hands to make me look at our identical eyes
"I'm willing to sacrifice my ears for your other brothers winning for your benefit for a few days,but I have to get something out of it too" he said and I looked at him with amusement

I never thought that the coldest CEO Leonardo Russo would sacrifice his time for a teenager, but here we are

"Deal,"I said, and we both smirked at each other

I was now carrying my suitcase and bag down the stairs while trying to be careful not to wake up the sleeping devil, or my plans would be ruined
Leo and I came to the conclusion that he would tell the others about our talk later when I am far away from the house and out of reach from the others, especially Kyle

I carefully opened the door and saw Anni waiting for me at the porch outside
"Care to help a little," I asked her more like pleading her

She gave me a big hug before getting the bag from me and throwing it at the trunk them throwing the suitcase too, and we got inside the car and she drove away from my family house

I miss them already

"Did you tell someone that you are leaving?" Anni asked me, and I looked at her with a horrified expression ,I forgot to call Leo

I quickly pulled out my phone and dialed his number
After a few minutes of waiting, he answered me

"Hey,princesse, did you already leave?" He said before I even get a chance to greet him

"Um,yeah, I'm with Anni now already driving to her place," I said softly, and I heard him sign

"Ok,take care of yourself for me, please, and don't do anything stupid ,ok?"

"Ok,take care of yourself too,"

"Ok," He said, and before he could hang up, something came over me
"Leo,wait!" I screamed and saw Anni flinch through the car mirror

"What?" He asked me simply
"I love you, Leo king ." I said, and I heard him chuckle at me
"I love you too, my princesse Kiara," he said, and I almost wanted to go back and apologize to everyone

But this will wait for now
