Three days have gone since I last saw my brothers, and for the short amount of time we've been together, they developed a really special place in my heart
And I don't want to admit it But I really miss them They have been calling me non-stop since the last time they called, but I just turned off the phone when their names popped up on the screen
They have sent a lot of messages too,but I really haven't made an effort to check them
At least I have a job, and I go to university to help me cope with the boredom, and maybe with that little guilty feeling that I had in me.
Yes,I feel guilty for suddenly leaving them like that, Well, I was the one that made that decision,but still I even gave them the silent treatment
I sighed, I've been sitting on one of the tables,with my head lying in my hands, Grace has been working for both of us all day
I should buy him a present for putting up with my lazy ass all day
Suddenly, I felt the presence of someone behind me, and I lifted my head from my arms and turned around "You have been sleeping all day here," Grace said, and I sighed He tilted his head to the side and clicked his tongue
"What is bothering you this much?" He asked me,now sitting in front of me "Brothers,"I said simply "Well,now I understand why you are like this,"he said, and I looked at him, confused "What do you mean with that?" I asked him, and he smiled "You are still not talking to them?" He asked this time seriously "Yeap," I said, and I rested my chin in my palm He shaked his head at me
"You have to go home, Kiara," He said softly, and I looked at him, confused "But I still have an hour until my shift ends." "No,not there,I mean, you have to go back to your brothers Kiki," He said, and he looked at me with a little smile I'm not sure about that
"What if they are mad at me?" I asked him, and my eyes widened when I thought about it "Ohh,come on, you are their little sister,they can't be mad at you. Believe me," He said and looked at me with a big grin on his face "You have a little sister?" I assumed "Well,yeah, she is twenty-two," He said and scratched his neck nervously "And why I didn't know about her?"I asked him and narrowed my eyes at him
"You didn't ask," he said and shrugged his shoulders "Sure,I didn't." I scoffed, and he rolled his eyes I wanted to ask him more about his sister, but I was interpreted by the doorbell signaling that someone just entered the café
Grace and I both looked at the direction of the door to see three men walking inside We could only see the first one because the other two were behind him
I decided to stand up and greet them,but the problem was that when I looked behind the first man who hadn't stopped smiling since he came in,I saw my twin brother and Kyle smirking at me,and I just stood there not believing my eyes
Oh,okay, then "Good evening, gentlemen! What is your order going to be?" I said with the biggest smile that I could make The unknown guy then came first to the counter "I would like an ice americano, with a little bit of sugar," he said and winked at the end,then laughed
Well, that's cute
"Okay,a name?" I asked him,ignoring my brothers glares "Hades" "Like the God?" I asked him "If you think so," he teased me, still smiling "You don't look evil,though?" I too teased him But before he could answer me Kyle pushed him and stood in front of me,with his hands on the counter
I looked at him in disbelief He is so rude
"What is your order going to be kind gentlem?" I asked him, trying my hardest not to laugh at what I called him "A latte, please," He added at the end and smiled sarcastically at me "Okay," I said and wrote his order "Don't you want to know my name too?"He asked me,still smiling like a psycho "No thanks." I said and turned towards my twin, who was listening the whole time "And for you?" I asked him this time normally He sighed and mirrored Kyle's pose with his palms on the counter "Normal ice coffee,"he said quietly
"Okay," I gave their orders to Grace, who had been looking at the scene in front of him the whole time
I took a peek at my phone and saw that my shift had just ended,so I told Grace that I'm going,and he told me to disappear Rude much? I changed my clothes in the backroom,and when I went out, there was no one except Grace mopping the floor Well, I guess that I'm free for now
I bit him goodbye and walked outside. The weather was cold today,and I should have brought a jacket with me I started walking towards the car,and I began to search for my keys in my bag,and I incidentally collided with something hard
I looked up and saw Kyle disapprovingly, shaking his head at me,I sighed and just let my face stay buried in his jacket. Well, they got me "We have a lot of things to talk about." He said sternly, and I just stood there completely relaxed "Kiara?" He asked me when I didn't answer him "Huh?" I said,and I felt the tiredness slowly consuming me I haven't slept well the past few days,and I have been drinking coffee nonstop "Want me to carry you?"he asked softly this time "Okay," I said quietly, and I felt him lift me up,and the last thing I heard before my eyes closed was "Did she feel asleep?"
