Lynn was about to jump out of the closet and kill the three. But Nami held her tight. Suddenly the doorbell rang.
"Who'd be knocking on the door at this hour?" Sham asked.
"Just stay out. Understood?" Kuro asked with a strict tone. "We can't allow the night to get the better of us." Walking away from the Straw Hat Pirate before heading to check who was at the door. Klahadore, whose real name is actually Kuro , opened the front door to notice a small group of marines there. Koby being there as well, being at the front. "Marines?" Kuro asked a bit shocked but kept his cool so he wouldn't give himself away. "Whatever could be the matter at this time of night." "Sorry to bother you at such late hour but we heard of pirates in the area." Koby spoke nervously.
"What? What are you talking about? He is the pirate! He murdered someone, Merry, he killed him. What are you waiting for? Arrest him." says Usopp loud.
Kuro sighted and fixed his glasses. "Oh dear. I apologize if Usopp here has wasted your time. He's not really well. The entire village has tried their ulmost best to help him but.. the poor boy has been this way since he was a child. One lie always bigger than the last." Leaning closer to the marines. "He was never quite the same after his mother's death."
"You leave my mother out of this!" Usopp raised his voice and didn't like how Kuro talked about his mother. "His gloves.. check his gloves for knives." Usopp suggested. Koby listened to him before turning back to Kuro. "Do you mind if we have a look at your hands? Just to make sure." He informed the man before him. Placing Kuto's hand on his and examined the gloves carefully. Seeing that nothing was wrong with it. Letting go of him once Kuro pulled his hand back immediately.
Usopp had to watch as Kuro lied about him. Having no words about his lies and how people were affected by his actions.
"That's enough! I thought we had a job We're looking for a fugitive. Goes by the name Luffy." Helmeppo spoke.
"Luffy? Why yes. I know that name." Kuro spoke. "It belongs to one of the criminal guests that Usopp seems to have invited to dine inside the home and meet the lady of the house." Kuro spoke.
In the kitchen, Lynn and Nami were still in the cupboard. Lynn would rather be with Zoro now, she would like to know if he is okay. Lynn doesn't believe he is dead.
"Buchi, the marines are here. They've come to collect the drunken Straw Hat Pirate." Kuro spoke through an intercom. "Bring him to the front of the house immediately."
"Marines?" Buchi asked a bit worried. "What are they going to do?"
"Nothing." Sham spoke. "What if this Straw Hat talks?" Buchi asked. Sham scoffed. "He drank enough of that soup to kill a sea beast." Walking to the counter and grabbing the closest rag. Walking back to Luffy as she wiped his mouth. "Just stick to the Captain's plans and we will be alright." Buchi nodded as he knew that kuro was very strict with following orders and didn't like them to not do as told. Grabbing Luffy by his shoulders and dragging him off it as Sham dealt with his feet. Placing an arm around their necks to support him. "Come on sweetheart." Buchi joked.
