Will they notice the pain in my eyes
They never have before, I don't know why
Will they find the cuts hidden
I'm sorry but I lost it for a minute
Have you ever been told a hundred truths
But then one lie and they mean nothing to you
Have you ever given someone your all
And when they leave you think it's your fault
There's blood dripping on the floor
I'm locked behind a bathroom door
I'm crying but there's a strange smile
Because it's the pain I've deserved for a while
Your name is carved into my side
I hide it like the way it was me you used to hide
People say forever but they don't know the meaning
They throw out promises faster then I'm bleeding
I drink this bottle trying to drown out your name
But let's face it, its seared into my brain
I scream and hope maybe I'll explode
Into a million pieces that will fit into a envelope
I feel like I'm a dead body numb
I don't feel except your name hits me like a bomb
You killed the light that was inside
All with that little three word lie
