You see these scars.
These scars are battle wounds.
Battles that I've faced,
Inside my own bedroom.
You asked who I was battling,
You thought there was someone else.
And that's when I told you,
I was battling myself.
Some of the battles I've lost,
Are inside my head.
Some of them I've lost,
While sitting on my bed.
I always lose these battles,
I don't think I'll ever win.
I think I'll lose the final battle too,
In the end.
I lost every battle,
In return I got a cut.
Some have your name on them,
I guess I needed better luck.
