Knock knock
No answer at the bathroom door
She opens it
There's water covering the floorBad sign
She turns and looks in the bath
He's laying there
With a blank stare not blinking backShe reaches in
And pulls him out to her
Lays him down softly
But he can't feel pain no moreShe calls 911
Hoping it's not to late
She tells them to hurry
Cause his life is at stakeShe puts her lips to his
Then she pushes down on his chest
She does everything she can
To make him take a breathBut he doesn't move
So she pulls him in
Holds him in her arms
It can't end like thisParamedics arrive
They start going to work
Then she sees something
That she didn't notice beforeOn the sink is a peice of paper
Just laying there
It says her name
So she unfolds it with care"If you're reading
It means I went through with it
I'm sorry
I didn't want for it to end like thisIt's not on you
So don't blame yourself
I tried to be strong
But its not in the cards I was dealtI'll always be there
In your mind and your heart
This decision I made
It was very hardYou were my best friend
And please don't cry
Even I couldn't save me
I've been damaged for a long timeTo much sadness
It was choking me
Only with you
Did I feel I could breathBut there were parts of me
Even you couldn't fix
That was on me
And I couldn't do itMy anchor
It's time I set you free
It's ok
No more looking after meI said it just thoughts
That I was actually ok
But I was hurting to bad
In a way I couldn't sayI know you're mad
And I know you're sad
And I know reading this
Hurts you real badBut I chose this
And I can't really explain why
Just tired of living
When I don't feel aliveI didn't want to do this to you
Please believe that it's true
Cause this is the hardest thing
I ever chose to doYou helped a lot
Changed my fucking life
I love you
And I'm sorry, goodbye 🖤"She sets the note down
Paramedic walks over and says
I'm sorry to tell
But your friend is dead
