Knock knock
No answer at the bathroom door
She opens it
There's water covering the floor

Bad sign
She turns and looks in the bath
He's laying there
With a blank stare not blinking back

She reaches in
And pulls him out to her
Lays him down softly
But he can't feel pain no more

She calls 911
Hoping it's not to late
She tells them to hurry
Cause his life is at stake

She puts her lips to his
Then she pushes down on his chest
She does everything she can
To make him take a breath

But he doesn't move
So she pulls him in
Holds him in her arms
It can't end like this

Paramedics arrive
They start going to work
Then she sees something
That she didn't notice before

On the sink is a peice of paper
Just laying there
It says her name
So she unfolds it with care

"If you're reading
It means I went through with it
I'm sorry
I didn't want for it to end like this

It's not on you
So don't blame yourself
I tried to be strong
But its not in the cards I was dealt

I'll always be there
In your mind and your heart
This decision I made
It was very hard

You were my best friend
And please don't cry
Even I couldn't save me
I've been damaged for a long time

To much sadness
It was choking me
Only with you
Did I feel I could breath

But there were parts of me
Even you couldn't fix
That was on me
And I couldn't do it

My anchor
It's time I set you free
It's ok
No more looking after me

I said it just thoughts
That I was actually ok
But I was hurting to bad
In a way I couldn't say

I know you're mad
And I know you're sad
And I know reading this
Hurts you real bad

But I chose this
And I can't really explain why
Just tired of living
When I don't feel alive

I didn't want to do this to you
Please believe that it's true
Cause this is the hardest thing
I ever chose to do

You helped a lot
Changed my fucking life
I love you
And I'm sorry, goodbye 🖤"

She sets the note down
Paramedic walks over and says
I'm sorry to tell
But your friend is dead
