Meryl's Pov

"If anyone troubles you, don't hesitate to call me or Alpha, okay?" Damien said parking his car outside a large building which now I know is my school. I felt giddy at the sight of my new school.

"How?" I asked Damien snapping my head towards him, his question made me tear my eyes from the building and towards him. He reached for his front pocket and pulled his phone out.

"This." He said waving his phone infront of my face.

"But I don't have a phone." I mumbled looking at his phone. He gave me an incredulous look but when he saw I was not lying he sighed and mumbled under his breathe about how I need one.

"So can i go now?" I asked literally jumping on my seat. He chuckled and shook his head. "Since you don't have a phone, if anyone troubles you inform the principal, not that anyone would." I nodded my head quickly showing that I understood but he was not done yet.

"Do you know anyone here?" Damien asked me pointing towards the school building. His question automatically stopped all my movements making me grow stiff.

I totally forgot about that. I don't even know anyone here. I don't know anything about school to begin with. And that's when panic kicked in.

"Hey hey, relax relax." Damien quickly held my shoulders and said soothingly. He probably had seen my panic stricken face.

"I know someone." He gave me a charming smile and it ease me a little.

"Who?" I asked curiously.

"You know Lucy right?" When I nodded my head, he continued. "Her daughter, Lisa would help you." He said and I saw his eyes glaze over, probably mind linking her.

"Come on." Damien said unbuckling his seat belt and stepping out of his truck. I followed suit and went to stand beside him. Everyone present in the school parking lot was now staring at us, more like at Damien but he was busy looking at the school doors.

I followed his gaze and saw the school doors open then came out a beautiful girl followed by two huge boys behind her who were no doubt were twins. They seem like arguing about something but when they saw Damien they all stop talking.

"Beta Damien." Both of the boys greeted Damien at the same time. One of them had brown eyes while the other had blue. The blue eyes boy looked at me and smirked.

"Who is this fine lady Dan?" He said looking me from my head to toe. Before Damien can say anything his twin opened his mouth. "Someone who is probably not interested in you."

The girl chuckled at her brother's annoyed face and stretched her arm out for me to shake. "Hi, I am Lisa. Are you you new?" She asked me with a friendly smile. She too had blue eyes and was brunette like me. I smiled back and nodded but before I can say my name she squealed.

"Oh my god, are you Beta Damien's mate? I'm so happy for you, Dan." She went to hug Damien but was stop by Damien's hard glare on all three of them.

"She's not my mate. Her name is Meryl and she is Alpha king's mate." He growled out and look pointedly at the boy with blue eyes who paled and looked scared at the mention of Alpha king.

He cursed loudly and started apologizing. "Shit, I didn't knew that. He will have my head if he know." He looked scared while his twin laughed at him and smacked his head.

"It's fine." I said smiling a little.

"You are Meryl? I heard so much about you from my mum. And just like she said you are so pretty." Without any warning she hugged me tightly making me staggered back by the force of her hug.
