My Brother's Best Friend

I woke up and did my daily routine. I put on a blue long sleeved shirt and jeans. I put on a jacket and put my hair in a ponytail. I grabbed my things and walked downstairs. Last night I had a dream about Julian and I kept waking up saying I love you. Weird right?

"Morning." I smiled. "Morning." They said. I grabbed a brownie and we walked out. "Where's Julian?" I asked. "He's with Kimberly." Adrian said. I nodded and we got in his car. He drove off and I plugged in my ear buds.
We got to school and got out. I walked over to Quinn and groaned. "What's wrong?" She asked. "I want him but I probably ruined my chance." I said. "How do you know that?" She asked. "Look." I said pointing over to him and Kimberly. "Oh man, well I have a solution to that." She said.

"What?" I asked. "Make him want you more by getting with another guy." She said. "Are you kidding, I've never had a boyfriend before let alone hooked up with a boy." I said. "Oh gosh you are pure." She chuckled.

"I was taught to save myself for the love of my life." I said. "Oh okay well no sex then." She said. "Let's face it, I'm not getting him and if I was to try to get him Carter would go ballistic." I said. "You're right about that." She sighed. "Come on let's go to class." I said. She nodded and we headed to class.

We got there and I sat down. Brittany walked in looking like the devil. "You." She snarled then made her way over to me. "What did I do?" I asked. "Before you got here Julian and I were a great couple then you come prancing in here doing your little irish dance and mess everything up." She snapped. "Its not my fault he lost interest and plus I think Kimberly is the one you want to be yelling at not me." I said. "Screw you O'Donnell." She snapped.

"Words don't hurt me." I said then she sat down. "Why does everyday start with her saying something to me?" I sighed. "She's obviously intimidated by you." Quinn said. "I don't know why, look at her." I said. "There's something about you and she's jealous sin." She said. "Oh wow, that's different." I said.

Lunch time rolled around and Quinn and I decided to go to steak n shake with the guys today. Quinn, Ryan, and I got her car. She started the car and played pacify her by Melanie Martinez. We sung along to the song and Ryan was in the back recording us.

We pulled up at stake n shake and got out. Julian was with a girl but it wasn't Kimberly. She was 5'5 with beach blonde hair and hazel eyes. Jealousy came all over me. We walked inside and found a table. I was sitting with Julian and that girl to the left of me and Ryan to the right. Once we got situated we made the boys get all the food. They left and the table fell silent.

"Who are you?" I asked the girl. "Trisha and you are?" She asked. "Sinead, and that's Quinn." I said. "Oh." She said. "Yup." I mumbled. Can somebody spell awkward. "So... Are you and Julian a thing?" Quinn asked. "Yeah, he asked me out this morning." She smiled. "Good for you." She said. "Yeah, I doubt y'all have boyfriends." She said. "Excuse me?" I asked. "I mean look at y'all, Sinead your stomach is way too big and what hair color is that, you have freckles on your neck and you're way too pale, Quinn your chest is flat and your forehead is huge." She said then chuckled.

I was about to say something but the boys came back. They gave us our food and Quinn and I started texting each other.

Quinn❤: WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?

Me: IDK BUT IF SHE SAYS SOMETHING ELSE TO ME IMMA THROW MY VANILLA MILKSHAKE ON HER

Quinn❤: Lol sameee

Me: Ugh I'm tired off all these fake Barbies

"Sinead, have you ever been to Cancun?" Carter said. "I've never been out of Ireland." I replied. "Oh wow, well that's where we're going for spring break." He said. "Sweet, I can't wait." I smiled. "You going cutie?" He asked Quinn. She blushed and nodded. "She is not cute." Trisha mumbled and I threw my milkshake at her. 

"I going back to school." I said. I stood up and walked out. Quinn came out and we got in her car. "Omg I love you." She said. "That's what friends do, but now I want a milkshake." I said. "We'll come back another day." She said. I nodded and she drove off.

The final bell rung and I collected my things and proceeded to walked out. Someone grabbed my wrist and I turned around. Dylan. Great. "Hey." He said. "Hi." I replied. "I'm sorry for making things awkward yesterday." He said. "That's fine." I said. "So, are we still going out on Friday?" He asked. "I can't sorry." I said. I snatched my wrist away then walked out. I got to the parking lot and got in Adrian's car. "Thanks for waiting." I said as he drove off.

"Why did you throw your milkshake on Trisha?" Carter asked. "She was talking about Quinn and I the whole time you left and I said if she says anything else about us, I'm gonna throw my milkshake on her." I shrugged. "Julian is really mad sis." He said. "I don't care." I said. "Okay, he's not gonna be talking to you for awhile." He said. "That's great for me." I mumbled.
We got home and I went in my room. I changed and decided to go to sleep. Its been a very long day.
