My Brother's Best Friend

I stepped out of the car and ran over to my grandmother. I hugged her so tightly. After a long, annoying fourteen hour flight, we're finally in Ireland. My dad and Rena to only stay here for a week because Rena wants to spend time with her side of the family.

I'm a little annoyed but I'm gonna make the best out of the week I have here.  "I missed you grandma." I smiled. "I missed you too bunny." She replied. I've always loved that nickname she gave me. I don't remember where it came from though.

We pulled away and I greeted the rest of my dad's side of the family. "Sinead you've gotten big." My aunt said. "I know." I smiled. "You're mom's side of the family is coming over for brunch." My grandfather said. "Really?" I asked and he nodded. My mood immediately changed.

I haven't seen them since my mother's funeral. My dad and uncle carried the bags into the guest house then we went inside. I looked at all the pictures of my cousins and I and smiled at the memories. We used to go to the beach, the valley, and many other places when we were younger.

The doorbell rang and I hopped up. I practically ran to the front door and swung it open. "Bunny!" My other grandma said. I smiled and hugged her. I pulled away and let everyone in. I can see that my aunt is remarried and my favorite cousin Luna is pregnant. We all go to the dining room and sit down. Luna sits beside me and decides to catch up.

"How's america?" She asked. "Good, I've made a couple friends and I'm in a relationship." I said. "Really?" She asked and I nodded. "Tell me about him." She said. "His name is Julian and he's eighteen, he's sweet, cute, and amazing." I said. "Aww your first love." She smiled and I nodded. "When will we meet him?" My cousin Connor asked. "Soon." I said and he nodded. My grandmother's walked out and placed the food on the table. After we said grace, we dug in.

After we finished stuffing our faces Carter, Connor, Luna and I went to the game room. The guys were playing a football game while Luna and I were playing air hockey. "I'm glad they kept this place up to date." I chuckled. "Yeah, it really would've sucked if pacman was still down here." She said and we laughed.

"Are you pregnant?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm four months with twins." She replied. "Awe congratulations." I smiled. "Thanks, it sucks because all I can do is stay in the house because Will doesn't want me working." She said. "Dang, where is he?" I asked. "At work." She replied and I nodded. We finished our game of air hockey and sat down on the couch. I grabbed my phone and decided to text Julian.

Me: Hey ❤
Julian: Hey baby
Me: What are you doing?
Julian: Talking to Ryan, wbu?
Me: Hanging out with my cousin
Julian: Oh cool, when are you coming back?
Me: December 30th
Julian: Okay cool, I miss you
Me: I miss you more
Julian: Nope, I miss you more
Me: Nope, not possible
Julian: It is, baby I gotta go love you
Me: Love you more

I locked my phone and turned my attention to everyone else. "Carter how old are you?" My cousin Rebecca asked. "Eighteen." Carter said. "Oh so you're legal?" She asked and he nodded. I know every family has that one cousin that tries to go get with any unfamiliar but cute boy that comes to a family gathering. "So, what are you're interests?" She asked. "Becca, he's taken." I said. "Dang." She replied and we laughed at her.

Quinn is speaking to Carter right now but I'm not gonna let him cheat or get involved with another girl. I know if the tables were turned then Quinn would do the same for me. "Sinead, you're starting to look just like your mom." Connor said. "Thank you." I replied. "Sinead has always been a mommy's girl, she used to hate her dad." Luna chuckled. "She still does." Carter said. "No I don't." I laughed. "I can't tell but okay." He said and I chuckled. "Carter do you like him?" Rebecca asked. "He's okay, I mean he hasn't rubbed me the wrong way." He said and she nodded.

Luna and I pulled up at the cemetery and got out. I haven't been here in a while. We walked over to my mother's grave and I knelt down. "Hi monmy." I began. "I've been going through a lot, america is a great country but where I live most of the girls hate me, well except for three girls, they're my best friends, I have a boyfriend, his name is Julian and we're in love, dad is doing good, I really miss you, oh I'm pregnant." I said then place a white rose down. I stood up and walked over to Luna. "When were you gonna tell you're pregnant?" She asked. "After I had an abortion." I said as we walked back to the car. "You're really not gonna kill it are you?" She asked. "I have an appointment for the 6th of January." I said getting into the car. "You're not gonna kill it." She said. "I'm not fit for a parent and when I hold the child I'm not gonna want to give it up." I said. "You have so many people that'll help you through this though." She replied. "You'll be here when I get pregnant again." I said. "You're killing a beautiful thing that deserves a life, you know your mother wanted to kill you, but my mom wouldn't let  her, she was in the abortion clinic and backed out last minute, sinead this baby deserves to live." She said. "I'll think about it." I replied then we left.

I'm back!!!!! Did y'all miss me??

Anyways I'm doing better and I might have a new boo.👀 I'm trying to gradually get better so I can update more.

Another thing, I really hate being mean and arguing with people so if you have a negative opinion or you don't like me for some reason keep it to yourself because you don't know me nor what I've been through nor what I'm going through
