Stephanie's POV.

It's been 2 weeks since Mr. Van de Black came over for dinner. Peter Armstrong asking me to the dance. Yeah it's been pretty good lately.

Thomas & I have been hanging out a lot, just to remove our lost friendship; while Peter & I went out a couple of times. Can this week get any BETTER?!

**BEEP** **BEEP** Was the loud sound of my stupid alarm, beeping away my beauty sleep. I pressed the button to turn it off, lifted myself up from the bed, made my way to the bathroom feeling grossly.

Took a quick shower, dried it, brushed my long dark brown hair. Did my make-up, brushed my teeth, dressed myself in a dark velvet red sweater, light blue skinnies, & brown leathered combat boots.

I ran all the way downstairs, grabbed an orange on the way. As I was heading for the bus stop to meet Meg, my phone rang. I picked it up, & read the text message.

**Text Message**

Meg: "Hey Steph. Can't make it 2 school...

Stephanie: Why?

Meg: Pucking out my guts out, high fever, & ready to puck some more:(

Stephanie: Ewww... TMI... I hope u feel better? I'll stop by on the way to drop a treat for ya

Meg: Thx Steph u're the best:)

Stephanie: Get some rest, I'll see ya after school

Meg: Bye"

**End of text message**

"Well looks like you'll be walking to school by yourself?!" Myself said. I set my phone in my pants pocket, & headed for school.

The air smelt like burnt leaves, the wind blew a cold breeze that send chills down my spine, but then something was blocking the winds; then I felt warmth traveling down my neck. I turned around to see those ice blue eyes.

Thomas was leaning close to my face, he grin at me with his purely straight white teeth. "Morning Stephanie." He said. I jump a bit.

"Geez Thomas! Don't scare me like that, I could have died of a heart attack!? Goll!!!" I said, putting my hand on my chest, breathing heavily while laughing.

Thomas smiled, but then dropped his smile when he looked over my shoulder. I turned around to see Peter Armstrong leaning his back against the bus stop pole. A smile grew on my face.

"What up cutie?!❤️" He said as he formed a lustful smile across his face.

"Hey Peter!" I said as I walked over to give him a hug. Peter looked over my shoulder & saw Thomas.

"Oh? Hi Mr. Van de Black..." Thomas didn't smile at him, instead he gave him a long hard stare, like a dad would when his daughter brought over her boyfriend to him for the first time.

"Hello Mr. Armstrong..." He snarled. Peter wrapped his arms around me, & said.

"Well, we better get going, don't want to be late for school." Peter said. Thomas was still glaring at him. Peter laughed nervously, & started walking down the sidewalk, leaving Thomas behind us. I left bad for leaving him like that, but Peter is important to me... kinda.
