Jade looked over at him
"You think I don't wanna be? I freaking do, and it's scaring me that I'm not yet, we've been going at it since before Bora Bora, the pregnancy tests are just freaking depressing," she said looking out the window
"And you know, if I didn't want kids, one would pop up so fast, but the fact that I want kids and I'm really excited to be a dad, it's gonna take so long, it's frustrating for me to," he replied, Jade looked at him as they pulled into the restaurant parking yard Dean pulled off his shades and sweatshirt and put on his suit jacket over his black shirt and ran his fingers through his hair
They held hands as they walked in, they found a vacant spot and sat down
"It's like you got me so excited for a kid and now, I'm ready to make anchovies and pickled peanut butter or paint the nursery or pick names, I'm so ready and nothing's happening," he said, continuing the conversation from the car
"You gotta be patient, cuz even if I am pregnant, you're still gonna have to wait 9 months after, s'good practice," she said, laughing as he groaned and picked up the menu

It was fairly late now so the restaurant had put on their lights
