LXXIII: The Second Trial: Soul

As we continue walking, I saw a garden full of flowers, a breathtaking place with assorted  flowers and colors as well as butterflies flapping around.

But as we continue, the fog that I thought because of cold and pressure on top of a mountain seems thicker and the temperature decrease making it unbearable chilly and then a phenomena happens, the morning sky change into a night sky.

I frowned at what I witness and plan to ask my friends yet when I turned around, I saw no one. I was alone in this dark foggy place.

'Where am I?' I ask myself, 'where is everyone?'

I tried to look for them, desperately since I am afraid of dark.

Thinking about this reminds me when I was alone in my dark room, crying and then Chris niisama arrive and help me ease with my fear, singing a lullaby until I fall asleep.

Chris niisama..

Recalling those events and every events that I was with him makes my heart throb with pain.

Oniisama... I miss you... I'm scared

I silently sob until I can no longer continue looking for my friends and fell on my knee. Crying as I continue remembering all about Chris niisama, my oniisama.

"Okaasama, otousama... please don't leave Miu. I... I'm scared... there is a ghost here... okaasama"

I stiff when I heard that voice and when I look behind, I saw a liitle girl around 4 or 5 years holding a teddy bear while crying on her knees.

"I'm scared... don't leave me here... I-I won't be a bad girl, please o-open the door okaasama, otousama... Miu will not be a bad girl anymore"

I bit my lips as I saw the little girl desperately calling her parents while shaking in fear. She's looking around like she saw something scary until her eyes lock on me.

"Who are you? Did your mother also lock you here?" The little girl ask me then she step by step walk close to me. "Don't be scared. Miu is here. Miu will protect you. Right oniisama?" 

I followed her gaze and I tremble on what I saw.

Oniisama... Chris niisama is here!

I exclaimed as I cover my mouth using both hands and sob silently while looking at him who is very gentle at the crying young Miu, the me in my past life.

Chris niisama turn his head on me and give me his gentlest and sweeetest smile that he always give me whenever I was sad.

"Celine"

He said and that's when I broke out and run to him, hug him tightly and crying on his shoulder.

"Oniisama... I miss you oniisama... why did you left me. Why?!"

He did not say any word and silently listen to my complaint for leaving me behind. He gently pat my head until my eyes dried from tears and my throat dried from crying.

"I'm sorry Celine. Oniisama is sorry for leaving you. Oniisama did not want to leave my princess but oniisama still left. Can you forgive me, my princess?"

I look at him and saw his gentle and sincere smile yet his eyes is filled with sorrow and regret.

I smile at him in return. "How can I not forgive my oniisama? You are my oniisama and will always be" then I hug him and he hug me back but before I can enjoy the warmth of being reunited with my older brother, something seems amiss.
