Chad dropped me off from school and when I went inside Nanny said

"You have a visitor upstairs"

I rushed upstairs thinking it was Heather but instead I found Brandon sitting on my bed

"Oh it's you" I said then put my stuff down

"Yeah it's me" he said then rolled his eyes

"What do you want I'm busy" I said

"Why are you acting like a bitc-" he began to say but stopped

I turned around and said

"Like a what Brandon"

"Why are you acting weird" he asked

"I'm not" I replied

Just then a car pulled up in his drive way then Lindsey got out

"Why is she at Your house" I asked

"We have a date" Brandon said

"Cut real cute I hope you have a great time now get out" I said harshly

Brandon sighed but left just like usual.

A few hours later my phone rang and it was Randy. He told me my father lived 4 hours away. He sent me an address and wished me luck. It was wensday and I decided I would leave school early tomorrow. The next morning I acted normal and I didn't tell anyone where I was going. During history I told the teacher I needed to be excused but just as I started walking to the office I heard footsteps behind.

I turned around to see Brandon.

"Where are you going" he asked

"Home" I replied then checked myself out and called my driver to pick me up

He said 5 minutes. I sighed and leaned on the lockers

"Alice please can we talk" Brandon asked

"About what Brandon" I snapped

"Well about why you're acting like this" he said waving his hand around

"This is me Brandon" I said

He got closer to the point our faces were almost touching

"Please Alice" he said quietly

But before I said anything my car pulled up.

"I have to go leave me alone" I said then walked past him

After 4 hours my car pulled up to apartments

"Is this the address" I asked

"Yes ma'am" my driver said

I walked up to the apartments and knocked on number 13 like Randy said. A man answered the door. But wait I've seen him before I just don't know where.

"Hi I'm Alic-" I started to say

"Aliceion" he said

"What are you doing here" he asked

"You know me" I said

"I'm a family friend" he replied

That's when it hit me

"You're the guy who stopped me on the street a few weeks ago" I said loudly

"Does your mother know you're here" he asked

"No" I said

"You need to go you don't belong here" he said

"But I" I said

"There's a reason you don't know me it's because I don't want to know you so go now" he said then shut the door

I knocked on the door and he opened it again

"You're my father how can you just send me away" I asked

"Because I don't want you now go" he said then slammed the door

I got back into the car and told my driver to bring me home. We pulled up in front of our house but I knew I couldn't go home. I knocked on Brandon's door and he opened it.

"I couldn't go home" I said tears streaming down my face

"Come here" he said then pulled me into a hug

He shut the door and we went to his room

"What did he do" he asked

"Who" I asked confused

"Chad" Brandon said

"It it wasn't him" I said

Brandon looked at me with a confused face then said

" explain what Happened"

I told him everything down to my birth certificate up until my father said he didn't want me

"Am I really that bad Brandon" I said with tears pouring down my face

"I mean it's bad enough my "parents" ignore me but my real father doesn't want me and let's not forget my boyfriend cheats constantly I mean why doesn't anybody want me" I cried

"Alice look at me" Brandon said

"Fuck them and fuck what they think I just need you to be okay so please don't pay attention to them fuck them" he said not looking away from me

"Brandon" I tried to say

"All I care about is you I need you to be okay" he said touching my face

He wiped a tear of my face and started to lean in. I wasn't drunk. He wasn't drunk. We were both sober and even though I have a boyfriend I really want to kiss my neighbor. But before I had a chance Lindsey walked in with a bag of chips and said

"They didn't have Cheetos so I got hot fries" but then she paused when she saw me

"Are you okay" she asked with a worried face

"I shouldn't have come here" I said then stood up and walked past her

I walked out the door but Brandon grabbed my hand

"Brandon please I don't have any energy in me right now" I cried

He didn't say anything but he let my hand go and I walked inside.
