I'm so sorry

"We need to talk" I say as soon as I get inside

"Yeah we do" he said with a smile

I told Brandon that I wanted to talk to Chad alone so he waited downstairs while Chad and I went to my room. We walked into my room and I turned my back to him and took a deep breathe and when I turned around Chad was on one knee.

"Chad" I said scared as hell

"I know you wanted me to do this in front of everyone but I wanted it to be special so I'm doing it when it's just us" he said with a smile

"I've loved you for as long as I can remember and I want to be with you forever and I know it haven't been easy for us but I'm ready to settle down because I love you Aliceion" he said

"So will you marry me" he asked

"No" I said

"What" He said obviously confused

"I I can't marry you" I said

"I I I'm I'm breaking up with you" I said

"WHAT WHY" he asked then got up

"I just can't do this anymore" I said sadly

"I thought we were good" he said

"We were but things change" I said not looking at him

"How do things change within 20 minutes" he said

"I can't do this anymore chad it's over I'm sorry" I said

"I'll do anything I know I always mess up and I know I haven't been treating you right. I'm so dumb but I love you so much you're the one so please don't do this I'll never speak to another girl again I swear. I'll go to an all boys school I I won't even go to college I'll stay with you please I'll do anything" he rambled

"Chad I can't" I said feeling my heart break for him

"Aliceion please I know we can make this work" he said grabbing my hands

"I can't be with you anymore I'm sorry" was all I said

"It's because of Brandon isn't it" he asked but I said nothing

"I hurt you and I'm sorry but what you feel for him isn't real it's temporary" he said

"It wouldn't be fair for you if we stay together my hearts just not in it anymore" I say

"Maybe if we go away for a while just me and you so you can think about this you could fall back in love with me you always talk about going to Hawaii so we can go" he said with a sad smile

I shook my head no

"Please Aliceion I love you I can't be without you" he cried

I said nothing

"I'll do anything I'll -" he began to say but I cut him off

"I cheated on you" I said

"A kiss is nothing we can get past it we don't have to break up" he said

I looked away

"I slept with him" I said then looked at him

Chad looked at me for a moment then asked

"Why"

"I love him" I said sadly

"Is there anything I can say or do to change your mind" he asked

"No" I said

Just then Brandon walked into the room.he looked at me then Chad then said

"I'll go back downstairs"

"Why is he still here" chad asked

"he's staying here tonight" I said

"Right well then I should just go" chad said with a sadness in his voice

"Chad" I said before he walked out the door

"You'll always have a piece of my heart and I'm sorry it ended like this" I say sadly

"I know that isn't really over forever so if you want to have a temporary fling I get it I hurt you so I'll give you time but please think of me okay" he said with a frown then walked out the door

As soon as he was gone I felt the air in my lungs go away
