Hands spread out
Tilting, flapping like
A newborn bird
Learning to fly
One misstep, and glass breaks
Clocks are shattered
Potential is lost
My sense of time is warped
This balancing game
Can't be done
Without a leap of faith
Into the unknown
Living dangerously
Isn't my thing, but
Since everyone does it
I can't complain
Friends, my family can only
Watch from the sidelines
Knowing inevitably, I'll stumble
