The day.
The dreadful day that I so regret is here, my wedding day.
My dark castle was now decorated with brightly colours and flowers. It didn't look like my castle at all.

After years and years of Zeus nagging and begging me, I finally caved in and agreed to let Persephone be my wife. Needles to say Thanatos was not happy because he had to plan the whole wedding alongside Aphrodite, he does not like her at all.
I don't like Persephone, I gave her earings and she hated it and she could not talk enough about how she hates the underworld, sure woman dish the place you will have to live for the rest of your life, it's really insulting, this other girl whom she called Pan, she loved it alot. She really was a beautiful woman, her eyes was like a violet purple colour. Really captivating.
"Brother, thought this day would never come!" Zeus slaps me on the back. "You knew it would come Brother, it was you who made this possible." He just laughs it off. "I want you to meet my youngest daughter, Erse." She was the spitting image of Zeus only in female form. "Lord Hades, it's a pleasure to finally match the face to all the stories I've heard." Her voice was sharp and strong, a voice that will only speak the truth even of it should displease someone. "Hope I do not dissapoint." She hides  blush and step back. "Don't charm her Hades, I would've liked you to meet her sister, but she seems to be busy with something else."
There really is no end to him is there? Just how many children will he bring into this world?
"Right now let us make the way to the chapel room!"
I walk next to Hera, "I don't see Selene here, I know she and the Fates needs to be present for the wedding for it to be valid."
"Me to, when we saw her today she refused to attend the wedding, I know Demeter will be here, but it still does not make sense. She usually gives the blessing. So I have no idea why she wouldn't come."
The way it works when gods get married is that the fates weaves your lives together, an unbreakable bond. Each god gives a sample of their hair and gives it to the fates, they will perform a ritual in which the hair will be weaved together and Selene will bless it. Proving that the fates condone this marriage. You can never separate them unless you bargain with the fates and they see it will benefit it more if the couple were separated. So we do find it strange that she is not here.
"Well, let's get you married brother!"
Yes, and then my personal new hell awaits.

Everyone was seated, my once dark palace is fucking decorated in colorful flowers that you could barely see my dark walls. It creeps me out!
The music is signaling that the bride is now ready to walk down the isle. I see her walking to me.
Persephone's dress was really something else, it was fitting for the Spring Godess, somewhat beautiful, her dress was decorated with flowers, was a splash of white here and there.
Somehow, I didn't feel like it fitted her at all.

I could not really see her face, her veil covered her face and you can't remove it until after the Fates has weaved the hair.
Don't ask me why, I don't make the rules about that.
Persephone reaches the altar and her hand is placed in mine and we stand before the fates.
I don't really focus on what the fates says. I just want it to be over so I can go on with my work, that's all.
"Lord Hades, son of Cronus, do you take this woman to be your fateful wife, to have and to hold, for eternity. To stay faithful to her and protect her and rule with her your realm."
Her hands were shaking, nervous I guess.
"I do."
The fates now shift to her with a certain glint in their eyes and I didn't trust that look at all, not one bit.
"And do you, daughter of Zeus, take this man, to be your fateful husband, to have and to hold for eternity. To stay faithful to him. To rule alongside him and protect him and his realm."
Her hands are still trembling, dare I say even more than a few seconds ago.
"I.. I do."
Her voice was very soft. Did Persephone really sound this gentle and soft?
"Please present your sample. " Her white hair is tied neatly with a purple ribbon holding it together. "Was her hair always this white? I remember it being more blonde, almost cherry like colour.
I pay no mind and give mine.
They begin chanting and slowly the hair begins to glow, weaving itself together and dissappeared. "By the power of Fates and the blessing of Selene. I know pronounce you husband and wife, King and Queen of the Underworld. With this blessing, you are forever tied together."
I lift her veil slowly, only to come face to face with someone who was not Persephone. "What the...?"
