Here are a few that's are close to home.. For me anyway..
Derbyshire is known as one of the most haunted places in the whole of then UK, I sit in between the border of both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire so here's a little homage to my home soil.

The Village, Mansfield

The Village dates back to 1802 and was once a former slaughter house and malt house. It later became a nightclub in the 1970's but became abandoned in 2001. In 2015, it became a popular tag location.

From 2015, there have been numerous sightings of full body apparitions including Mr Merryweather who was a former owner. Underneath the building there are reports of a well, the female ghost called Catherine is said to have died by falling down the well.
Monks are also seen regularly, back in the 1500s seven monks died in a barn fire whilst hiding. Other paranormal activity includes; slamming doors and mist.

The Silk Mill, Derby

The Silk Mill was originally built in the early 1700s, but due two fires in 1826 and 1910 which destroyed the mill accept the bell tower.

In it's day it employed 300 works, both adults and children as young as seven.

It's believed a young boy was kicked down the stairs by a member of staff and unfortunately died. His spirit still wanders the mill to this day. People have heard his crying at the bottom of the stairs and the lift near by seems to have a life of its own, going up and down between floors on it's own.

The Old Victorian School, Nottingham

The Old Victorian School has become a popular venue for Paranormal teams. There have been numerous reports of paranormal activity such as disembodied voices, temperature changes, strange lights, objects moving, unexplained noises, dark shadow figures and the feeling of being watched.

Lion Hotel, Worksop, uk

It's reportedly haunted by a lady called Alice who haunts the older parts of the hotel especially room 201.

During the 1800's, Alice hanged herself after being rejected by the owner of the hotel .

Former school now industrial units, Sutton in Ashfield , U.K.

In 1985, the owners of a textiles unit reported seeing the apparition of a young girl wearing wellies. A member of staff claimed she said " I do not want go" before vanishing.

Please Telecom, Beeston U.K.

In 1971, night staff at Plessey Telecom were scared by the apparition of a man wearing a boiler suit and cloth cap, as he walked past them, then disappeared into thin air.

The Abbey Inn, Darley Abbey, Derbyshire

Originally The Abbey Inn was an out building to the Abbey but was converted in 1979. It's reportedly haunted by a white lady.

Grace Dieu Priory, Coalville , uk

Grace Dieu Priory was found by Roesia de Verdon in the early 13th century as an independent Augustinian Priory.

Grace Dieu Priory is reportedly haunted by a white lady who has no facial features. She has been seen around the Priory and crossing the road towards a bus stop. One reported sightings case from a bus driver who stopped to pick her up , only for her to disappear. Some believe the white lady is the founder , Roesia Verdon .
