" This is cashed, man. It's cashed " Slater said shaking a cigarette box . " It's in there, man " Wooderson said .
" You can ride with us, man, but you're ridin' in the back 'cause I ain't gonna shotgun you " Slater said towards Don but I couldn't stop thinking if Benny was okay . I'm not his girlfriend I know and he did fuck up tonight but he's my best friend.
" Yeah, yeah, yeah " Don said looking at Slater and back at me
" What do I do Don ? " I asked him looking at the guys getting in the backseat .
" That's up to you doll " he said and I decided maybe I should go look for him
" I'm going over to his house , just to make sure everything's okay " I said looking at Don
" Okay stay safe Luna " he said pinching my cheek before turning around and getting in the car
" Hey, hey. Hey, hey, watch the leather, man " Wooderson said letting out a chuckle .
" You coming beautiful ? " Wooderson said looking at me , his door still open
" Nah , I'll see y'all later okay " I said smiling
" Luna remember what I said " he said taking another drag from his cigarette.
" I know wood " I said frowning
" Take care doll " he said before closing the door as I said bye to Slater and Shavonne .
" Hey ! Luna you ain't coming ? " I turned to my right looking up at Pink
" I'm going to find Benny " I said fixing my shirt
" I don't know Luna , after what happened tonight are you sure you want to do that ? " Pink said trying to change my mind .
" O'Bannion spiked his drink Pink " I said looking into his eyes
" Oh wow what a pig " he said shaking his head
" let me at least drop you off at his house " he said smiling down at me .
" Fine " I said as he offered me his hand , and I took it as we made our way to his car . Pink opened the door for me as I made my way to sit in the back since Simone was sitting up front .
" We're dropping Luna at Benny's first " he said looking at her and she nodded . He started the car up and we began to leave .
" Why we're you guys holding hands ? " she said finally speaking up
" He's my friend , I don't like him don't worry about me " I said letting her know it's not me she should be worried about .
" Well I don't know if I can trust you after today " she said rolling down the window a bit . Pink looked at me through the view mirror
" I called you're friend a bitch , I never said anything about you . I'm just keepin' it real " I said looking out the window
" Benny looked like he was having fun tonight " she said and I knew she was trying to make me mad
" Simone chill out man " Pink said turning to look at her .
" I'm just saying , him and O'Bannion were drunk as hell " she said and I rolled my eyes
" we almost there ? " I said not wanting to continue the conversation anymore .
" Yes " he said making a right and I started to recognize the neighborhood . Pink finally stopped in front of Benny's house and he opened the door for me once again .
    " Good luck " he said before giving me a hug
" Thanks , but I think you'll need it more if you're going to be with this bitch all night " I said whispering in his ear laughing . He grabbed my waist pulling me closer to him catching me off guard
     " You okay ? " I said letting go , taking a better look at him .
        "Yeah um , let me know what happens " he said staring down at my lips
    " Uhh yeah , later " I said turning around walking towards Benny's house . I heard Pink close his car door and drive off , what the fuck was that about .
Pink was acting weird and it wasn't like him to be this way it made me uncomfortable. I shook the thought away not wanting to waste time thinking about it , I looked at the driveway seeing Benny's truck parked . I was making my way towards the front door noticing some of the lights we're still on
   " Fuck ! What are you doing Benny ! You can't fuck it all up ! Look at you ! " I heard Benny's dad yelling at him and I was scared for Benny .
      " Go on upstairs! We will talk in the morning " he said as I was peeking in the window trying to get a clear view of what was going on . I saw Benny , his hat still on his head turning around making his way upstairs. I quickly made my way towards his window picking up some pebbles on the ground . I looked up at his window waiting for him to turn his light on and he did . I threw the first pebble
      " Benny ! " I half whispering hoping he would here me .
     " Benny " i said throwing one more , I waited a few seconds and he finally opened his window
    " Luna ? " he said a smile forming on his lips .
" You going to let me in or what ? " I said smiling back at him .
       " Meet me at the back door " he said and I nodded. I turned around making my way to his backyard quietly not wanting to make a bigger mess of the situation he was already in .
    " Luna " he whispered as I made my way towards the door
     " Right here " I said reaching him as he took my hand and pulled me in his house . He closed the door and turned to me
    " my dad's buggin so we have to be quiet " he said as we made our way upstairs . We passed his parents room and thankfully their door was closed . Benny turned to the right opening his door pulling us inside
      " You came " he said as I looked around his room noticing the posters he had hanged up .
" And your sober now " I said turning to face him ,
as he made his way towards me placing both hands on my hips .
     " I'm so sorry , that wasn't me I don't know what happened " he said looking at me in the eyes
    " I feel like I blacked out for a portion of the party .Until I saw you almost fighting Darla " he said sitting down on the side of his bed . I sat next to him leaning my head on his shoulder
    " I feel so dazed and confused " he said looking out the window.
     " O' Bannion spiked you're drink " I said and he turned to look at me
     " what ? are you sure ? " he said and I nodded
" He told me himself before I went to go look for you" making Benny stand up confused .
    " Why the fuck would he do that " he looked at me , I could see the anger in his eyes.
" Benny there's something I haven't told you " I said standing up grabbing his hand.
     " What" he said in a calmer tone as he intertwined our hands together
   " Remember the party we went to a couple months ago ? " I said.
      " Yeah , it was a while back a bit hazy " he said
" Well when we went our separate ways I was looking for a bathroom and I ran into O'Bannion that night " I looked at the ground feeling ashamed
" He offered to show me where it was and I agreed " I said.
     " When we got to the bathroom he ended up shoving me inside and closing the door " I said and Benny put a finger under my chin making me look at him .
    " He tried to force himself on me " I said as a tear slipped making Benny pull me in for a hug . I have been holding this in for a long time and I was finally allowing myself to let go .
" Before he could do anything Don and Pink came in and pushed him off me " I said letting go of Benny to look at him.
    " I'm so sorry Luna , I never should've left you " he said as I sat down on his bed wiping a few tears away.
   " This isn't you're fault Benny " I said as he sat down next to me taking of his hat throwing it on the floor .
     " What did he tell you today at the party " he said looking down at his shoes
      " He told me he spiked you're drink and made Leanne go mess with you because he wanted me for himself " I said placing my hand on his back .
     " That fucking piece of shit ! I'm going to beat his ass the next time I see him ! I swear to god ! " he said frustrated .
    "Benny please calm down " I said and he turned to look at me
    " I'm so fucking sorry for not being there and for today , I would never hurt you Luna I like you to much to let you go " he said looking at me in my eyes and down at my lips .
       " You kissed her back Benny , I saw you " I said.
" That wasn't me I swear , I snapped out of it as soon as she said you're name " he said grabbing my hand .
    " That fuckin slut " he whispered shaking his head looking back at me
     "  please trust me , I would never hurt you like that . I don't know why I went with her to get beer I was gone ! It wasn't me " he said moving a strand of hair out my face.
    " I Believe you Benny , please don't hurt me like this ever again " I said looking at him.
      " Show me how much you care about me " I said Scooting closer to him . I climbed on top of Benny his hands grabbing my waist once again
    " Fuck Luna , I care to much about you " he said looking at me as he connected our lips together.
