Dazed and confused - (Benny/Pink)

We broke up

" I need some air " I said standing up walking away from the guys. I made my way towards the kitchen trying to find another beer
" Luna" I heard my name being called, I turned to my right seeing Pink.
" Hey Pink " I said picking up a beer as he stood next to me
" How'd it go with Simone ? " I asked
" We broke up " he said leaning on the kitchen counter
" Are you okay ? " I said.
" I'm alright  " he said and I nodded
" So you figured out what you want then ?" I asked him taking a sip from my beer
" Yeah " he said and before I could say anything a brawl broke out in the living room.
    " What's going on ?" Pink said as we made our way to the living room, pushing our way through the crowd finding Benny and O'Bannion going at it
    " Stop ! " I yelled as Benny punched O'Bannion.
    " What the fuck is going on " Pickford said pushing his way to the front of the crowd, Wooderson and Don jumped in trying to separate the guys. I looked over at Pink who began removing Benny off O'Bannion
    " Don't fucking touch me " Benny said to Pink as he turned to look at me. I quickly turned around and made my way upstairs to Pickford's room, I opened the door and laid down on his bed. I knew Benny was going to fight him I shouldn't be surprised, I looked around Pickford's room distracting myself a bit. We used to hang out a lot before he started dating Michelle. We played some records in his room and messed around, sometimes he would smoke a joint while we'd talk. The door suddenly opened snapping me out of my thoughts
" You okay ? " Pickford said closing the door behind him making his way towards his bed laying down next to me.
" They fought because of me " I said sighing
" I heard " he said and I turned to look at him
" Who told you ?" I asked.
" Pink " he said looking at me as I turned to look at the ceiling once again
" O'Bannion said something about 'how good you were looking tonight' and how he was going to make a move on you and Benny pushed him " Pickford said . I need to check on Benny but after our last conversation I don't know we're we stand
" Pink also mentioned what happened at that party a few months ago " he said sitting up. I felt like everyone knew at this point
" Yeah that's why they fought " I sat up as well.
" I miss this " Pickford said and I looked at him smiling
" Me to " I said pushing him a bit.
" It'll all work out man, don't stress " he said pushing me back. I smiled at him and pushed him back, before I knew it we were play fighting liked old times
" Why didn't you tell me you liked me " Pickford suddenly said as I got of him.
" Why would I want to ruin this " I said standing up
" Let's hangout more, like old time's " he said and I nodded agreeing with him.
     " I'm going downstairs , got some mess to resolve" I said my hand on the door knob
    " Good luck " he said as I opened the door heading downstairs once again, Didn't he say that before I caught Benny kissing Leanne ?. I spotted Kaye and Jodie talking as I made my way downstairs
" Let's talk " I said reaching them standing in front of  Jodie. Kaye began to leave grabbing her cup
" You don't have to go " I said stopping her before quickly turning back to Jodie.
" Look Jodie , I'm sorry for not telling you Pink liked me I didn't want to hurt you're feelings. When you saw us in the car it was me confronting him about it. I made it clear I'm with Benny or at least I was " I said
" I'm sorry as well I didn't mean for Benny to get mad at you like that " she said
" I can't control who Pink likes , I was just upset because we kissed last night " she said sighing.
" I think he confused his feelings towards me" I said knowing what Pink felt.
" I wouldn't want a guy to mess up our friendship " I said and Jodie nodded
" Yeah it's not worth it " Kaye said, for a moment I forgot she was standing there. Me and Jodie laughed
" We're cool then ? " she said
" Yes " I smiled at her as she reached in giving me a hug trying not to spill the drinks in our hands.
" I got to find Benny, but before I leave guess what happened " I said taking a sip from my beer
" What ? " Kaye and Jodie said at the same time making me laugh.
" I spoke to Pink he broke up with Simone " I said
" Oh shit ! " Jodie said almost spilling her drink.
" Right , we all knew he didn't like her anymore  " I said as Kaye began to light up a cigarette.
" Anyways I'm going to find Benny , hopefully I don't run into Simone and Darla " I said
"Come find us after !  " Jodie said, I nodded turning around. Simone already hates me because I called her a bitch plus she doesn't like the fact me and Pink are really good friends, I could only imagine what she was telling Darla. I mean they both hate me and Jodie so I'm not surprised if they come up to us tonight. I was to distracted thinking about them that I couldn't find Benny. It was already dark outside as I stepped out the house, I walked towards Benny's truck and there he was.
" Benny " I said walking closer to him, he looked over at me before leaning on his truck fixing his hat a bit. I walked towards him standing beside him
" Are you okay ? " I asked looking at him but he just nodded. We stood there a few seconds both of us not saying a word to each other.
" Talk to me " I said making him look at me, I could see a bruise starting to form on his cheek
    " You care more about Pink than me Luna " he began to say.
     " You tell him stuff that you don't even tell me" I didn't know what to say
" Feels like we haven't been best friends for a while now " he said.
    " I'm sorry , I didn't realize I was being that way " I said as Benny stared at the ground
     " Benny I care about Pink but not the same way I care about you " I moved to stand in front of him.
     " I'm new to this Benny you're my first boyfriend, I'm sorry if I made you feel less " I said making his eyes meet mine.
" I just care about my friends I don't want to see them upset " I pushed my hair back a bit.
     " I know Luna, I'm sorry for being a dick " he said
    " Did you mean what you said in there ? " I asked him remembering how he mentioned we should've never started dating.
        " No , I don't even know why I said that " he said and I nodded
     " So where does this leave us ? " I said.
