Change in behaviour

Slowly as the day's passed a slight difference in virat was easily visible to mahi bhai and Rohit. Not that he disrespected anyone or behaved bad with the team.

Virat wasn't so interested in practice session, nor in gyms. He was being carefree which was not virat's attitude.

Mahi didn't know what to do or why this changes were happening all of a sudden??

Batting coach Sanjay Bangar called MS.

Coach - mahi is everything ok with virat

Mahi- I guess but what's wrong sir

Coach - he is someone who never missed practice session, he is someone who was very particular about his diet. He was very serious on his performance. But seems like he is taking all of it very lightly now a days. And something that shocked me is when I spoke to him yesterday.

Mahi- what happened yesterday?

Coach- I was telling him about next match with Bangladesh, and you know what he said.. He Said that Bangladesh se match hai sir, it's no big deal I can make tons with ease. I don't have to practice for them..

Mahi- ye cheeku ne bola? Are you sure?

Coach- I understand what you might be thinking mahi. And knowing virat I am as shocked as you are. He has the potential to become the best mahi, make sure he doesn't lose his way

Mahi- ji coach

He didn't know what to do? Why this changes all of a sudden?

It was not that he didn't notice the change but his cheeku never disrespected anyone. Never kept his head high, but the change in him was that he was being very careless about his own performance. Virat was like he can beat anyone under the sun..
This overconfidence would prove to be harmful for him.

But tomorrow was first test against Bangladesh.

Virat got out for 34 in the first innings. Rohit went to him.

Rohit- hota hai vi, next time tu century banayega

Virat- I am not worried about it ro. Mene galat shot maratha, warna wo ball itna accha nahi tha ki muje out karde

Rohit- tera Dimag karab hai kya? How can you be so calm? And what's got into you?

Virat- i didn't know my potential until guthi bhai told me ro. He told me that I can beat any bowler under the sun, I am so fit that I don't have to break a sweat in gym and I bat so well that I don't have to practice.. He

Rohit- what's wrong with you? Koi kuch bhi bolega aur tu manlega?

Virat- what do you mean to say ro? Am I not good?

Rohit- I never said that!

Virat- then what do you want to say?

Rohit- vi meri baat suun, trust me I know you are one of the best. I can never wish bad for you

Virat- I trust you more than I trust myself idiot. Abb guthi bhai ka call aya hai I'll come wait

Rohit- hmm

Virat walked out but he turned to Rohit and screamed

"Ro tu mera best friend hai yaar"

Rohit just smiled at his bestie.

Mahi bhai had heard the entire conversation. He was fuming with anger.
