Don stressed himself out planning a perfect New Years. Eventually, he decided to take you somewhere simple.
You were reading your favorite book when Donnie tapped on your window. You hurriedly open the door and invite your boyfriend in.
"Hey Don."
"Hey Sweetheart. I hope you're ready."
"For?"
"For our date tonight." He laughed at your confusion,"it's a surprise date (y/n)."
"Well let me get ready then."

The crowd was huge around Times Square. The New Years Ball was scheduled to drop in an hour. During the whole wait, you and Don were either holding hands or snuggled up together in a warm hug.
That was when the crowd's voice levels rose. Donnie was debating on what he would do for five of the ten seconds. Finally he mustered up the courage.
"5,4,3,2," Donnie grabbed your waist and pulled you in close. "1!" He smashed his lips onto yours.
