The gang was in the basement, Lana and Hyde were sitting by the freezer, and everyone else was hogging the couch
"Happy Veterans' Day!" Fez cheered, walking into the basement," Now where have you hidden the chocolate eggs?"
"Uh they're everywhere Fez start looking" Eric teased
Jackie got off of the couch and walked over to Hyde and Lana by the freezer, and put her hand on his knee and Lana quickly pushed it off, "Oh, Steven, isn't veterans Day romantic?"
"Oh yeah, government pawns and miss limbs. That's amore" he said sarcastically
Jackie sighed and looked off into space dreamily, "I know, I know. It's a day for people in love to have fun together"
Kelso suddenly jumped to his feet, "You know all this talk about having fun makes me want to have some fun"
"I'm in," Lana sighed, "anything is better than all this love talk"
Lana was trying super hard not to Jackie get to her. After all Jackie had no idea that Hyde and Lana were secretly dating. But see her all over him was killing her. She just wanted to let everyone know that they were a couple.
Kelso nodded, "Let's throw stuff at other stuff"
Eric stood up, "Man, that's perfect, I got stuff"
"I'm in."
"Let's do it." The two of them ran upstairs and Jackie turned her attention back to Hyde.
"So, Steven. Would you like to go to Mr. Forman's barbecue with me?" Jackie asked patting his legs
"I'm going to throw stuff with the idiots" Lana huffed angrily, before marching up the stairs
Lana walked out to the driveway to see Kelso and Eric throwing the basketball at a pile of stuff, but they kept missing. Lana came and took the basketball out of Kelso's hands and threw it at the pile, knocking everything down.
"Why are you so angry?" Eric asked as he went to go get the ball back
"Jackie's crush on Hyde is disgusting that why" Lana said, bitterness laced in her tone.
"Why do you car so much?" Eric asked with a raised eyebrow
"I don't! I just think it's sad because he doesn't like her back" Lana shrugged, trying not to sound too upset
"Yeah, it's not cool. He's ruining my plan to get back together with Jackie" Kelso agreed
"Kelso your plans with Jackie we're ruined when you cheated on her" Lana said walking back to the house
