chapter eleven

elizabeth's pov :

i woke up to a stream of light hitting my face . i quickly remembered that i was on the couch in the living room. i rolled over and grabbed my phone so i could check the time . i then saw some texts from kristen

kristen : hey , wanna go shopping for the baby ?

kristen: also that maze runner movie is still in theaters , wanna go see it ?

i thought for a moment before thinking about weather or not i should go . i simply replied that we should go see the movie .when both decided to go see it at noon .

i made my way into the living room and grabbed a bowl of lucky charms and ate them . i then decided to get dressed . i put on a pair of leggings and a light grey shirt . i then slipped on my converses and grabbed my bag . i decided to race a bit early so i could make a Starbucks run .

david's pov :

i was thankful to have kristen's number still in my phone . i needed her to help distract elizabeth so i could plan a nice surprise .

today was a friday and school finally let out a bit early today . i then made my way to the flower shop hat scott recommended for me . i got her a fresh bouquet of hydrangeas . they looked so beautiful and they smelt nice .

i then stopped by the store real quick to grab some of her favorite junk food . i wanted to make it up to her for what i said . i didn't mean it in a bad way but , i don't want her upset at me .

once i was done i finally got home around 1:30 . kristen had just texted me and told me that they just left carter's and that she's be home soon . i set everything up in the living room for the two of us . soon she walked in .

as she enters the living room , a gasp leaves her lips. " what is all of this ?" she questions as she walks towards the flowers .

" a apology for my actions and the things i said . i didn't mean it in a bad way at all . if your hungry then i want my baby mama to eat all the things she wants " i say as i step aside to show her all the junk food on the coffee table

"i'm so sorry babygirl please forgive me ?"

she enters my embrace and hugs me . " i forgive you " she says and i smile . we then sit in the couch and talk about our day . we then decide to play a round of monopoly. like usual , she beats me and i say she cheated some how .

afterwords i helped her get her stuff from the living room and carry it back up stairs . " oh yeah i also got you something" i say as i finish folding up her blanket . i open my nightstand drawer and grab it

" nothing big but i just thought you could maybe find some names " i say as i hand her the book . a book filled with names for the baby . " it's in alphabetical order and it's categorized by girl , boy and unisex names " i say with a smile as i sit on the bed

she lets out a laugh " look at my nerdy but handsome baby daddy " she says and i grin . " come here and let this handsome baby daddy hold you then " i reply back

luckily she doesn't hesitates and she climbs into bed and snuggles into my chest .
