25/11/2019 Stray Kids member Hyunjin, is known to be Fai's classmate in her last year of high school. In a Youtube video, the two jokingly thank each other for being willing to skip and cheat off of each other.
Fans, however, were left a little bit confused when Hyunjin decided to answer a question about Fai during a Vlive, Hyunjin said,
"I don't know how to describe Fai, I've spoken to other people about her. They all said that she makes it clear that she views everyone as a friend and I agree like she friend-zoned pretty badly and I don't think she meant that maliciously. She feels like, a friend-zoning machine. You make eye contact with her and you just know that she only views you as a friend. I'm honestly shocked that she... has a boyfriend."
