Chapter 15- Held You When You Fell

*Yume's POV*

"Nii-san! Can you play with me?" I asked

"Forgive me, Yume. Maybe next time" Itachi poked my forehead then left the house for his mission

"Nii-san! You said that you'll teach me a new shuriken jutsu today!" I pouted

"Forgive me, Yume. Maybe next time" Itachi poked my forehead then walked out of the house

"Nii-san, can you teach me a new jutsu? You're not busy, are you?" I asked

"Forgive me, Yume. Maybe next time" Itachi poked my forehead

"You always say that. When will the next time ever come?" I pouted

"Sorry, Yume. I'll borrow your Nii-san for a while" Shisui-san said then stroked my head

"Nii-san better come back without a scratch or I'm coming after, Shisui-san!" I said

"Itachi, what are you reading?" I asked leaning on the couch my brother is sitting on

"A book" Itachi said

"I can see that. What is it about?" I asked again

"Wouldn't you like to know?" 

I sat down beside Itachi and rested my head on his shoulder and I fell asleep in that position

When I woke up, I was using Itachi's lap as a pillow and was covered with a blanket. I looked up to see Itachi unbothered by it, petting my head gently, and he's still reading his book. I smiled then drove myself to sleep once more

"ITACHI!" I cried then hugged Itachi's body

"I'M BEGGING YOU! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY BROTHER!" I sobbed as I held my brother who fell into my arms. Sasuke also fell on my back, but I managed to hold him up.

I stared at Sasuke from the corner of my eyes that were basically a fountain. 

My vision was extremely blurry, but even still I didn't want to see him anymore. 

I was given such a stubborn twin who just doesn't listen 

"I believe it's over now, isn't it?" A voice suddenly spoke up, my eyes darted towards the source of the voice. The man with the swirly orange mask.

"What do you want? Did you come here to kill me or Sasuke?" I mumbled the question as he took a few steps towards me

"Ho? Did you lose your will to live, Uchiha?" He said and I looked away from him

"Yu...me...get away...from...this..." Sasuke mumbled lowly..

"Don't try anything funny. I know you can weave jutsu signs with that single hand you're using to hold up Sasuke, and I also know about the four kunai you placed around the area to put up a barrier in case something goes wrong" 

"You've got quite the eye, don't you?"

"Yes, and I also know that you don't plan on letting me out of here alive now that I showed up"

"Yet you still insist on staying"

"That's right. You want to take the two of them back to Konoha to get Itachi buried as a hero and tend Sasuke's wounds, don't you? I have no objections, however, I'd like to take Sasuke off your hands"

I giggled slightly, then that slight giggle evolved into laughter, and soon I was laughing like a maniac, "Do you have a loose screw or something? As if I'll let you take Sasuke just like that"
