*Yume's POV*
I made my way to the war battle field as fast as possible. Ame guided me all the way there and took the fastest route as she explained everything I missed. When I got there, the place was in shambles
"What would Itachi do? What would Itachi do? What would Itachi do?" I kept asking myself then got myself the answer and rushed in there
The Juubi started shooting spikes at everyone so I got out my Susano'o and started burning, stopping, and slicing all the spikes I can to save as much people. They were wooden spikes so that made the burning easier.
Iwa's shinobi were capable of protecting some people, but I needed to make sure Naruto's okay. A rasenshuriken destroyed a lot of spikes so that was Naruto. On the way to him, it was time to use my jutsu
"Saru, Tatsu, Ne, Tori, Mi, Inu, Uma...Katon: Jōshō Suru Hi No Jutsu"
(Monkey, Dragon, Bird, Snake, Dog, Horse...Fire Style: Rising Fire Jutsu)
A fire wall rose up from the ground that stopped and burned all the spikes, but it's length is limited to 200 meters and two minutes max, meaning I have to go protect the other side where Naruto is. I slid in front of Naruto and started molding chakra because I used half of my chakra like an idiot
"Yume!" Naruto exclaimed
"Sorry, I'm late. I had to stop the Edo Tensei" I said calmly
There was a bit of a ruckus from beside. Turns out it's the Juubi wiping the battlefield as if it was coffee table, but Hisashi-sama came and pushed it back. One of it's fingers stared shooting out more spikes focused on Naruto then Hinata rushed to him and stood in front of him as a shield.
'Damn it' I yelled mentally then grabbed everyone around and placed them down next to Naruto before raising the Yata mirror and protecting everyone. Didn't realize this but I was slowly becoming chakra bankrupt
"Why is chakra a thing in this world? Chakra pisses me off. If chakra didn't exist I wouldn't have to mold chakra. Chakra is what causes me to lose and mold chakra. Curse you, chakra. why do you exist, chakra? Chakra...Chakra..." I mumbled angrily then noticed the mountain jutsu in the distance being pushed back
"What brought this on all of a sudden Dattebayo?!" Naruto asked with dot eyes
The Juubi wrapped it's arms around itself and started gathering chakra in front of it's mouth. but Killer Bee jumped in there, destroyed the chakra ball that was being made and hopped into the Juubi's mouth. Suddenly, the Juubi's belly expanded dramatically as if something exploded in there then the Juubi deflated like a balloon. The Hachibi fell from the sky
"Kurama's chakra is back!" Naruto said then turned to the Kyuubi chakra mode Ame told me about
"Good" I said then we were all covered with the Kyuubi cloak when Naruto touched us. I felt my chakra returning and the feeling was divine. He made a few shadow clones that scattered across the battlefield, covering everyone in the cloak
The Juubi aimed to get Hinata and Neji, but they slammed it back at the Juubi with just an air palm
"Be careful!" I said then completed my Susano'o and kept slicing the Juubi's hands as the Akimichi clan held them back. Ino slipped into Obito and the Nara clan stopped the Juubi's movement with the Kage Mane. That didn't last for a long time before the Juubi broke free. The hachibi shot a bijuu bomb.
The samurai slashed their swords. The Hyuuga fought with their air palm. Me with my Amaterasu flames. Suna with the Futon. All those jutsu were sent to the Juubi to harm it and destroy its arms if possible. The plan backfired and the Juubi 's arms surrounded us and formed a cage around everyone
