*Yume's POV*
"Yume?" A voice spoke up suddenly from beside me, I couldn't see who it was as I had just transplanted Itachi's eyes, but through Ame's eyes, I could tell it was Sasuke.
"You've woken up surprisingly early" I said with a small smile on my face then put down the whisk I was using to mix batter, "How are you feeling? I believe your wounds are okay now"
"What's wrong with your eyes..?" Sasuke asked in surprise then took a few steps towards me
"Oh-! Don't worry about that. Anyways, what do you want to do now?" I asked and he gave me a confused look
"What do you mean?"
I sighed and looked down at the picture frame which had all three of us together, "You've killed Itachi. Are you going to stay in Konoha with me, or are you going to leave again?"
"Does my answer really matter?" He asked and narrowed his eyes at me
I looked down at my hands with, "I know what you're answer will be, so you don't really have to say anything if you don't want to"
"You say it in that tone, however you look like it's bothering you" He stated with his signature arrogant tone
I turned to him and smiled, "You're my only family left. I don't want to lose you too"
He was quiet for a few seconds before speaking again, "I'm going to the orange-masked bastard. He might be able to answer my questions"
"I'm not gonna stop you, but promise me one thing, Sasuke."
"And it is?"
"Promise me that you'll be careful. That man is powerful, I don't want you getting hurt" I smiled at him and he was taken aback, but huffed right after
"You're too soft..." He grumbled and walked out of the front door
"Are you sure it's okay?" Ame, who was on my shoulder, asked and I chuckled
"He'll probably be okay" I stated and went back to the matter I already had on hand before he came down, "It'll be fine."
-Time skip-
A week has passed since I've transplanted Itachi's eyes and since Sasuke went to that Akatsuki member. My vision slowly started coming back, but my eyes still hurt and drain a dangerous amount of chakra whenever I use my sharingan.
I was walking back home from Tsunade-sama's office, and it seems that she will start assigning me missions again. But as soon as I opened the door to my house, I heard a loud bang coming from the center of the village
The village overtaken by giant animals which I'm sure are summons of someone from the Akatsuki. I huffed then dashed around Konoha, setting all the summons on fire with Amaterasu until all of them are dead.
"Thank goodness there wasn't a lot of them or I would've been done for" I panted as I tried to quickly infuse the chakra I've already lost
"Uchiha Yume, it's been a while" A voice said from behind me so I turned to face him. It was Pain..
"Oi, why do my eyes like acting up when I need to fight the most?" I sighed then activated my sharingan again
'I should be careful...I'm in no condition to fight, but there is no way to get out now. I need to quickly seal him away before my sharingan drains all my chakra'
"Tell me where the Kyuubi jinchuriki is or else, I'll kill you" He ordered
"Naruto? He isn't in the village, and if I did know his whereabouts, I still wouldn't tell you"
