Part 3 - memories

It was 6:45 and you were heading to the avengers tower. You called Nat.
"Hi Natasha Romanoff here."
"Nat it's me, Y/N, i am in front of the tower..."
"Your early huh, I'm heading downstairs"
She hung up, think it was a sister thing.

"Hi, how are you ?" She hugged you
"Fine how about you ?"
"I'm okay, so, we're going to get in. Steve, Cap, is going to train, Wanda knows already, so she is waiting for us, Steve will come in with Sam, Falcon and Bucky, Clint, Hawkeye, is away with his wife, Tony is with Pepper and Bruce, Hulk is in the Lab, with them. So i think cap will be kind of a problem, since he thinks you're a problem."
"Great, so im basically about to die."
"Relax, im here and Wanda is there too."
"Mhmm"
"Alright let's go."

You came in, it was huge, so beautiful and it looked expensive. A girl walked up to you and Nat.
"Wanda this is Y/N"
"Hi im Wanda Maximoff, Natasha's best friend."
"Nice to meet you, thanks for trusting, me."

You all walked to the training room, you sat down and within a minute, Bucky came in. You looked down, and then back up, Bucky ran towards you.

"Widow ?!"
"Yeah it's me, Winter soldier"
"It's Bucky now, glad to see you're alive" he hugged you super tight.
"Glad to see, you're happy." You smiled
"So si,nice you know my real name, what's yours ?"
"yeah that's the difficult part" Wanda said
"I am hum, Y/N Y/L/N"

His eyes went wide, he looked at nat, and back at you.
"Nat, Steve is going to be so pissed"
"Are you ?" She asked
"Of course not, i mean of course it was you" he said looking back at you
"I'm glad you're not mad, really, you're my best friend Buck. I can call you Buck ?"
"Of course doll'

"Who can call Buck, well Buck ? And who is Bucky's doll ?" A dark blonde haired man asked next to who you assumed was Sam.
He looked at you in the eyes, and then it hit him. He ran towards you and punched you in the face, you flinched.

"Steve listen."
"Nat what the fuck ? And Bucky ?! She's going in a cell"
"The hell she's not" Nat said
"It's not your decision to make" Steve growled.
"Talk to me like this once again and you'll see Rogers. You're not the boss of me."
"Actually I am your superior. So"
She slapped him.

"Alright im taking her" Steve said
He electrified you, and you fell on the ground. Right when Steve was about to take you, Bucky interfered.

"Buck, i dont want to fight you."
"Steve, she is my friend, you don't know anything about her"
"I actually do ! SHE IS DANGEROUS BUCKY."
"So was I. Let her explain herself"
"No."
"Steve it wasn't a question"
He dropped you and went straight to the meeting room, and he called an emergency meeting.

Tony came in followed by Pepper and Bruce
"What's happening ?" Tony asked
"Seems like our enemy, is now a friend for some here" Steve said glaring at Natasha walking in the room.

"Cut it out steve. She deserves a second chance."
"Is that Y/N Y/L/N ?!" Pepper asked
"Yup yes it is. She is going so down" Tony said
"No she isn't." Bucky stated
"Look, I know I'm a pain in the ass. I know that I screwed your plans up. I know you don't like me....but we want the same thing. Hydra - we want it gone."
"Huh. Than why messing up our missions ?"
"Because in that way, Hydra thinks they still control me, but I just blow up everything in the end"

"Smart. You're a little too much like- Me." Tony said
"Well that's a compliment" you said
"Guys what is wrong with you ?! She can't be trusted" Steve said
"Steve, she was abused you can see it" Sam stated
"I have and idea, I can go through Y/N head, and in that way we will see if she is lying or not" Wanda proposed

"Well, I mean. Memories are organised like little boxes, so Happy memories, Sad memories, The random memories, and the Traumatic events. You can go through the hmm" you said
"Go through the trauma" Steve said
"Steve" Wanda started
"Trauma or she is out"
"You're okay with this ?" Nat asked
"Yeah yeah okay."

You sat in a chair. And Wanda went through your head. A music filled up the room.
Laying in the silence
First memory : Yelena, other widow and you training, Dreykov kills the weak ones
Waiting for the sirens
Second memory : You getting shot, and killing an older widow, Sarah.
Signs, any signs I'm alive still
Third memory : Dreykov forcing Lucie to kill herself
I don't wanna lose it
Fourth memory : You escaping, and being immediately tracked down by Hydra
I'm not getting through this
Fifth memory : hydra wiping you and Bucky
Hey, should I pray? should I pray
Sixth memory : Bucky and you on a mission.
To myself? To a God?
Seventh memory : Bucky escaping and you sacrificing yourself to let him go
To a saviour who can unbreak the broken
Wanda then stopped looking in your head.

You were fully crying, so was Wanda, the rest of team was shocked.
"Y/N you did this for me to go ?"
"Of course I did buck, you're my best friend..."
He hugged you tight.
All the team apologised for what happened to you, expect Steve...

"So, I want Y/N to join the avengers." Nat said
"No. Let her go, but no not an avenger !!" Steve shouted
"Actually, having her on our side, would be amazing" Tony said
All the team agreed. Steve was mad and got out of the room. Sam and Bucky followed him.
And just like that, you were an avenger. A fucking avenger.
