For the early birds, have a productive day.

Her heart lodged at the pit of her stomach with the way Maleika Tambari was looking at her. She has dreaded her encounter with the Kabiru Tambari's since when she was informed that her uncle wants her to spend two weeks of her holiday in his house.

How can she stay with people she has never met face to face with for two whole weeks. She had to search for them on instagram and see their lifestyle. Not that she has never searched them but it has been long.

Laura is private. Before she could stop herself she followed her. Arshad only have fan-page but no account. Aryan have pictures of him in different countries wearing cultural attires or in museums and historical places.

Hernadi the beautipreneur have some of her beauty products on her page. And pictures from so many first class social events both home and abroad. Her and Aryan are the only ones that have a verified account. Then she saw another name that caught her interest Biba Tambari, isn't that Aunty Sailuba's daughter? Why will she use her mother's family name Amnah wonders. Definitely because she wants people to know she's a Tambari her subconscious mind lamented.

When she a true Tambari doesn't use the name because she hates when people ask her if she's from the family and she denies it. She don't want to come over as a tick when her cousins deny ever knowing her but it's not biba's fault because their situation is not the same. Biba has a good rapport with them and she doubts if they know her or even her father for that matter.

What happened to their family she can't say but she knows it must be something so strong to create that huge rift in their family ties, she could see that they are trying hard to amend it but the damage has already been done.

Amnah was taken to a room which she could hear Aunt Maleika raking about. No one ever stayed in her daughter's room ever since her death why will Baba make a guest stay there when there's guest room.

Amnah feels bad that the couple are having a heated argument over her. If it is left to her she can be taken to anywhere in the house and she wouldn't mind.

She fell in love with the mint green painted room. All the furnitures are white and there's no trace of dust which means the room is cleaned regularly. The bedlinen is grey and white with mint green, white and grey throw pillows. She leaves the handle of her Louis Vuitton calfskin bag and padded to the other door frame in the room. It's a walk in closest with lots of clothes, shoes and bags, all scenting nicely of bakhoor.

There's a full-length mirror on another wall and close to it are two big boxes. She couldn't stop herself from opening them. The first one is a jewelry box underneath it is a makeup box. When did this girl die that everything of hers is still intact? Then her subconscious mind pried into her thought "What will you tell the woman if she sees you rummaging through her late daughter's stuff? No wonder she didn't want a guest in the room. She walks back to the chaise lounge in the room and slumped onto it.

A knock on the door startled Amnah from the book she was reading may be she was just imagining it. Who will even come to her room. Then there's another knock, "Yes", she kept the book on the bedside table and brought down her feet from the bed. "I'm coming", she wore her flip-flops and sauntered to the door.

"Good..... Evening ma"

"Mrs Williams. How are you Amnah", she corrected and walks pass her to sit on the bedbench facing the TV and Amnah followed her.

"Why do you always stay in the room? That's no way to bond with your cousins". Amnah didn't even know what to reply her with, she has been warned by Ammi to be of her best behaviour like she always does when she's going anywhere.
