I glanced from behind at the little boy whose hood had draped over his head to hide his identity from everyone. His hand had taken a hold of my wrist with a firm grip as he pulled me towards the only getaway entrance.

I was baffled, in a situation like this my mind went blank for the first time. 'This little boy, what is he thinking getting himself involved in this matter when he could run and avoid everything. Tch, I won't take responsibility for you if something were to happen'

Nevertheless, I followed his command and ran, following his lead as he pulled my hand.

"DON'T LET HER ESCAPE!" Edmond bark of order made the cloak figures step in to make the gaps between them unescapable.

But it was too late for them to block our exit as Homura, the little boy and I ran past them, dodging their hands from grabbing a hold of any of us, Homura had leaped away as one dived in to catch him. "HAHAH suck on my tail, you overgrown sac of dog shit" Homura chuckled and mocked at the cloaked finger that stumbled back up.

The thief had let go of my hand the moment we escaped through the circle of Assassins that surrounded us "follow me. I know these streets and hidden alley way more than anyone" he explain with a soft tone as we ran into the scurrying crowd that ran for the lives and for some unknown reason the boy had made sure to stay beside me so he wouldn't lose me in the wailing crowd of people.

"No, we don't need your help. Artemis always knows what to do with these brainless humans" Homura said proudly, his little fox body ran between each person's legs, going under or around making sure he wasn't kicked by one.

I smirked at his comment 'Aww thanks Homura. That still doesn't guarantee the fact I will drop you kick you, though'

"Thanks kid but I'm 100% sure I can lose them with or without your help" I told him. I glanced down at the thief who was able to keep up with me but further examination I can see this amount of speed is not his usual and he was going to run out of stamina very soon. Either way I'm impressed he could force his legs to run fast like me.

I dodged past a woman and her kid that came in my way, sliding to the left before continuing to ran after Homura and the thief.

The natural light had made it clear for me to see his disbelief facial expression and those silver eyes that glanced at me as if I was being dumb or I was just naturally dumb.

"GET HER AND THAT LYING THIEF" Edmond's voice was just audible against the bustling of the people that ran as if their lives were in trouble. I didn't look back to see if they are running after me as I already knew they would.

"Oh shit" the little thief boy squeaked as he peeked his head back, he forced himself to run faster.

I gave him a side glance "Your really are a fool" I told him following him to the corner of the street.

"What are you implying lady?" he said with a puff.

"You shouldn't mess with people who look dodgy, especially those guys" I explained to him as we seeming ran through a deserted pathway with people walking beside it.

"I didn't steal anything from them. They offered to give me a handsome amount of money for information regarding on you" he said eyeing me up and down with a playful grin cross his face.

I sweat dropped at what he said, scanning his mischievous expression I don't think he is telling me the full details of what kind of information he provided the douchebags and his dogs. "And judging by you're the way you present yourself, I think you sent them on a wild goose chase with no goose"

Those light silvers reflected how the cheekiness of his personality and how impressed he was with my analytical skills. The corner of his lips perched to a side grin. "They wanted to know if an Isvandy was here in Taivas, and I answered them truthfully however they never specified if they wanted to know exactly where you were. Gives them a good reason never to cross past a thief like me"
