Y/n POV:
Makkari speeds around saving as many people from the chaos as possible whilst myself, Thena and the others meet, she quickly joins us.

Ajak: 'Where are the others?' The mother figure of us asks.

Makkari: 'We had to split up' The beautiful speedsters signs. Thena makes eye contact with me and forces down a blush

Thena: 'There were more deviants than you said' Thena says directed at Phastos. I smile and place my hand on her lower back as i pass her

Phastos: 'Well i'm sure that was a lot of fun for you and your crazed Girlfriend' I turn to him and signify i'm going to slap him later jokingly

Thena: 'It was' She replies.

Phastos: 'Once y/n and Ikaris kill the last of the deviants, we will have eliminated them from the planet' He says. Several gunshots can be heard and we can all sense something is wrong

Myself and druig look at each other, hating that they are killing each other. The people of the planet we love so dearly.

Ajak: 'Don't, we don't interfere in their wars' She whispers in our ear

Y/n: 'This isn't war this is cruelty, of which we can stop' I say getting more infuriated by the second

Druig: 'It's genocide' The eternal i consider to be my best friend mutters

I glance over at my girlfriend seeing her eyes flash and a strange light appear around her forehead. She then opens her usually bright and beautiful eyes, they weren't the same. Something was wrong

Thena: 'It's too late, everyone is going to die' Her eyes glaze over and it isn't her anymore. It's as though something has taken over

She immediately summons a weapon and attacks Sersi making Makkari speed her out of the way

Y/n: 'Thena, babe what's wrong' She swings for me making me catch it and look her dead in the eyes 'Thena' She goes for makkari and Ajak stops her

Ajak: 'Don't listen to to your head Thena, listen to my voice, you are safe, you are loved, you are Thena' She glances over at me then jabs Ajak in the stomach

Y/n: 'Shit Thena' I grab her and look her in the eyes 'Babe what the hell' I slam her against the ground knocking her out whilst the fighting continues.

We travel back to our current place of temporary living where we lay Thena on the table and prey for the best

Sersi: 'I thought mad weary was just a myth' Sersi says standing behind me and gripping onto my shaking hand tightly

Phastos: 'There is no cure, so no one really talks about it' My face drops. No cure? She's going to be like this forever?

Y/n: 'What I-' I am broken off by Thena awakening, she instantly makes eye contact with me and knows there is something wrong

Thena: 'What happened?' She asks, looking at my and Sersis intertwined hands

Ajak: 'Thena, you attacked everyone, wounded sersi, phastos, you nearly killed Makkari' The icy blonde haired goddess turns to me, a tear rolling down her cheek

Y/n: 'Thena' I say and glance into her eyes

Thena: 'I don't remember' She looks panicked 'Y/n why don't i remember?' She questions a look of pain taking over her expression
