The Bad Girl

Chapter 5

"TGIF" Lizzy says walking up to the table. She sat down beside me and started to eat her Baked Potato. "What are you guys doing this weekend?" asks Trevor. "Nothing" I say as well as Ryder and Lizzy. "Well how bout we go to my Uncles lake house. he won't mind?" He questions. "Sure I gotta get some clothes first" I say and pick at my pizza. "Do any of yall want this?" I ask and pick it up. They all shake their heads.

I stand up and walk over to the trash can, I dump it and then walk my tray over to the tray return. I walk back over to the table and grab my bag. I walk out of the cafeteria and over to my car. I drive to the nearest gas station and buy me a pack of cigarettes and a monster. I smoke a cig on the way back to school, I park in the same spot I was at and spray a bunch of perfume over me. I make my way to my last period and daydream for the whole period.

I put my books up and make my way to my car. "Hey Sky do you mind if I get a ride, Trevor already took off with Lizzy" Ryder asks from behind me. I turn around and look up at him, "Yeah cmon" I say and turn back around. I walk to my car and open my door and slide in. I start the engine and back out of the parking spot. "So where do you live?" I question as I turn into the main road. "Take North Avenue B and drive until you get to Prairie Chapel Road" He says leans back. I get comfortable and turn on the radio. I skim through the the stations until I get a call from Lizzy. I press answer and the call goes over the speakers.
S-Hey Lizzy what's up
L-Hey nothing much. Do you mind driving Ryder and yourself to the lake house?
S-Cool, and yeah sure that's okay
L-K I'll send you the directions
S-K later
I hang up the call and hand my phone to Ryder. "Here plug in the aux cord and play any song, besides Rock, Screamo, or Dubstep" I say and turn into the road. He plays 'She Knows- Ne Yo'. I start to silently sing along to the words as I follow Ryder's instructions. I pull up beside his house and turn to look at him. "okay so go get enough clothes for this weekend, and come back out here" I say and grab my phone from his lap. I unlock the doors and play on my phone as I wait for him to come back.

After 5 minutes of waiting, Ryder finally runs down the stairs and opens the car door. I buckle up and wait for him to get situated. When he finally does I do a u-turn and start to drive to my house. I turn on 'Earned It- The Weekend'. I start to sing along and turn into my street. "Damn you really live out in the country" Ryder says as he looks out at the empty fields. I turn into my long driveway and slow down a little. I pull up to my house and turn the car off. I get out and make my way inside.

I greet the maid and make my way up to my room. I grab my Victoria Secret PINK duffle bag and start to fill it with some clothes, I make my way to my bathroom and grab my necessities out of there. I finally grab some shoes and a couple bathing suits and make my way back down stairs. I find Ryder looking at the family pictures that we had sitting on the fireplace mantel. "The picture that your looking at is my brother Jason he is in California, he works for EA Games he helps design some of their games. The big picture above the fire place is my family. My father is in the Marine Corp and is currently stationed. My mom works here in Crawford, and my brother is in Cali" I say and walk up next to him. "Is your dad gonna be back soon?" He questions and turns to look at me. I shrug then turn and walk outside.

I motion for Ryder to wait a second and get into the car. I turn it on and pull up towards the garage, I click the button and the door opens. I pull in and park and grab me and Ryder's bags. I open the door and climb out. I set the bags down on the trunk lid, and motion for Ryder to come here. As he walks up I walk over to the wall where the keys are. "Okay since I don't like to drive my car a long distance, You get to pick from the Jeep, Hummer, or Range Rover." I say and pick up the 3 key sets. "Hmm I'm gonna have to go with the Hummer" He says and picks up the bags and makes his way over to it. I put the Jeep and Range Rover keys back and walk over to the Hummer. I unlock the doors and get into it. Ryder sets the bags in the back seat then gets into the passenger seat.

I get a text from Lizzy telling me the address of the house and to hurry up. I message her back with 'okay we will be on our way as soon as we get food and stuff'. I back out of the garage and turn around in the driveway. I drive down the drive way and turn back the way we came. "So why did you move schools?" Ryder asks. "Behavior issues apparently speaking with art on the side of a wall is bad and frowned upon, oh and so is smoking weed in the bathroom, but not as bad as blowing the smoke in the teachers face that caught you. The rest are secrets that shall remain unspoken until the time is right." I say and pull into the Brookshire Brothers grocery store.

"Okay since I really don't feel like being hit on, you are gonna pretend to be my boyfriend. Lets go" I say and get out of the car. Ryder walks around and puts his arm around my shoulders. "Good job but can you make it believable?" I challenge and stick my hand into his back pocket. We walk into the store and start to grab random snacks, drinks and anything that we think you will need. I grab 2 random bottles of liquor and put them into the cart. We start to make our way to the check out when I see a long lost friend working the register. I motion for Ryder to go to that one and wait for Jessie to recognize me. "Aye Sky what's up little lady" He says and hugs me over the counter. "Nothing much just trying to have a fun time with new friends" I say and motion towards the bottles of liquor. He catches my drift and nods toward me. "I see, and you probably won't have as much fun as we did back in Lubbock. Nothing could compare to that" He says and winks. "Ah one of the greatest nights of my life that night and yeah nothing probably could. Oh and this is my friend Ryder" I say and motion towards Ryder. "What's up bro" Jessie says and does a bro handshake. "Kay Little Sky your total is $146.68" Jessie says and punches a button. I swipe my card and type in my number. "Good seeing you Jessie, we gotta catch up sometime have some fun like we used to." I say and give him a kiss on the cheek like I always used to do. "Yeah we do and don't have to much fun, Don't wanna have a repeat of what happened last time" He chuckles and waves goodbye. We walk off and back out to the car and make our way to the lake house.
