The Young Years: Chapter 20

It's 4:50 and I'm ready to go out. I wear my hair naturally down with my navy blue dress and my gold and teal blue owl necklace.
I hear a nock at the door u practically run toward it. I open it and it's him. he looks natural which doesn't bother me i like the way he looks naturally.
"Hey" he says nervously
"Hey" I say with a half smile
"You ready"
"Oh yeah" I say checking my satchel
we begin walking towards colt state park
"So" I say
"So" he says
"What's the plan today"
"I though we could get some ice cream and walk on the beach"
"Sounds perfect"
"Cool"
"So what do you think about the assignment in math"
"I don't know what mrs. Oliver was thinking its way to easy we are suppose to be in advance math"
"I know right it's ridiculous"
We talk for a while about school and a little about band which I play clarinet in and he play saxophone.
We finally get to the ice shop.
"What do you want" he says looking at me
"Oreo please" I say to the lady over the counter
"Same" he says
"So if mine falls I can have yours" I say to him
"Yeah right" the lady hands us the ice cream and after arguing who would pay we spit it.
I begin licking my ice cream and within 10 minutes it's gone.
We walk on the edge of the water
"I love the beach it's so beautiful"
"Like you"
"Shut up" I say shoving his feet into the water.
He drags my arm towards him pulling me into the water. I splash water at him and he splashed me back. It then becomes a water war. I start running back through the water and he comes running behind me I look back and he grabs my waist bringing my feet off the ground. he spins me around. at this moment we r both laughing. he finally drops me and I land on my feet.
We r both soaking wet and laughing.
"Thanks for getting me wet"
"Hay you started it"
I smile proudly
"Thanks for the date"
"Ah no problem"
We start walking side by side back to my house.
"Did you see the way those people looked at us it's not like we r breaking the law" I said
"Right" he said
I then feel his fingers intertwine with my. he hands are wet but warm.
I turn to him and he is already staring at me. I smile and he smiles. we don't say another one for the rest of the walk but I enjoy holding his hand. I never wanted to let go.
When we get to my house he slowly released my hand.
"So see you tomorrow at school" I say
"See you tomorrow"
I stand by the door and watch him go. that was the best day of my life and I don't even care that I'm soaked.

September 16th, 2014
I fall asleep that day smiling brighter than I ever had it just felt right.
The next day I get a text from Kaitlin as I'm on the bus.
"Hey do you want to go to the movie tomorrow"
"Sure. hey we should see if anyone else wants to come"
"Why don't we make it a double date"
"A what"
"Sofia"
"Omg Kaitlin please don't even say it"
"I have a boyfriend"
"Kaitlin who"
"Travis coyot"
Travis is an innocent boy. but he's track with girlfriends aren't the best.
"I don't know about him"
"Sofia r you mad"
"No it's just you know how I feel about boys"
"Your in a relationship with a guy I know would never purposely hurt me"
"I know Travis would never hurt me"
"Ok I  support you. I can use this date to see his true colors ok"
"Ok"
"Also what movie"
"I was thinking bout the longest ride at 7:00"
"Ok"
I then text Kyle.
"Hey"
"Hey" he instantly texts back
"Kaitlin has a boyfriend now"
"Who"
"Travis coyot"
"Wow"
"That's what I said"
"So she was wondering if we wanted to go in a double date"
"That could be cool"
"So you in"
"R you in"
"Yeah I guess"
"Ok so what movie is it"
"Longest ride 7:00"
"Romantic"
"Ya but if they kiss oh he is dead meat"
"😂. what about us"
"That's a different story"
So I then had a double date which sounds fun but I did know if u could contain myself if Travis broke the 3 rules of Sofia
1. Be romantic to a public sense
2. Don't mention other girlfriends or other girls
3. DONT KISS MY FRIEND IN  FROUNT OF ME FOR MORE THAN 5 SECONDS.
