"As we have been married to produce a heir, we are going to have a sex schedule and other than that, I don't want to see your ugly face. Now, get out of my sight."

"The next time you talk to me like this, I will fuck you so hard and fast that you wouldn't be able to walk for the next 7 days."

"Stop waiting for me like a good wife. I don't want to see your face. If you want to fuck, then come inside my room otherwise don't you dare show me your pathetic face."

"Strip out of your clothes right this instant. We are not making love so I am not going to touch your ugly body."

"Give me a good fuck like a good little slut that you are."

Aadhya opened her eyes and sat up straight. Panting hard, she reached out for the water bottle and swallowed the whole bottle at once.

This had been her routine. She didn't  get enough sleep since the day she married that devil. And she wasn't able to get a good amount of sleep after her divorce too.

It was only 3 in the morning and no matter how much tired she was, she wouldn't be able to sleep and she knew that.

So, after making a pillow barrier around her son, she walked out towards the balcony and kept admiring the moon.

She watched the moon disappear and gazed as the sun rose from behind the horizon.
Everyone believed that life was a cycle of good and bad times. But, for her there were no good memories.

Her parents also believed in male superiority. It was clear that they wanted a son. After she was born, they got to know that Aadhya's mother would not be able to conceive now. They were disheartened and  released all their pent up frustration and anger on her.

No matter how much nice she behaved, they always hated her. At first, she blamed herself for their behavior. She started thinking that it was all her fault. But, then seeing the kind of relationship her friends shared with their parents, she realised that she was not wrong.

And her thoughts confirmed when she heard her parents' conversation on the day they dropped the bomb of that marriage on her. She had cried herself to sleep that night thinking that her parents didn't even bother to ask her before agreeing with that unwanted alliance.

She came out of her trance when she heard his tiny footsteps behind her. Aadhya turned around just in time to see Aayansh rubbing his eyes with his fists.

The child dropped his body on his mother's body and nuzzled his nose in the crook of her neck. Aadhya hugged him and rubbed his back to put him to sleep.

After sometime, Aadhya put the child on the soft mattress and went inside the bathroom to take a quick shower.

When she came out, Aayansh gave her a breath-taking smile and reached for his mother.

Aadhya held him close to her chest and sighed. She gave Aayansh a bath and fed him breakfast.

Then, she drove towards Aayansh's school and then entered her school.

After 4 long lectures, she was very much tired and wanted to just go home and sleep.

She started walking towards the main gate when someone tapped on her shoulder. She turned around and gave the woman a confused glance.

The woman said,"Hi! I am Anika. And I teach Biology to 10th class."

"Umm-hey! My name is Aadhya and I teach English to class 11th and 12th."

"So, can we be friends?" Anika asked her with a cute pout and she nodded with a small chuckle.

Wow! Aadhya could certainly not  express the amount of happiness she felt at that particular moment. She finally made a friend.
Her second friend.

Anika hugged her new friend in happiness. She was one bubbly girl.

"Did you hear that we have a really special Chief guest coming to attend our Annual Function?"

"No. What is her name?"

Anika chuckled and said,"Its not 'her', it's 'his'. And his name is Ar–"

But her sentence was cut short when Aadhya suddenly apologized and said that she has got a real urgent work and that she needed to leave.

Anika shrugged off her apology and they both bid their goodbye's.

Aadhya drove off to Aayansh's school  and picked him up. She buckled him in the seat and then drove to their apartment.

After entering inside, she gave her son a bath and made him eat his dinner. As the child was tired, he immediately slept.

Aadhya was also about to sleep when her phone rang and she frowned. Nobody called her except for her favorite person.

When she saw her phone screen, her tiredness flew away and she picked up the phone.

"Hey! How are you, babe?" said an over enthusiastic voice.

Aadhya chuckled and said,"I am fine. How are you?"

"I am also fine. I miss you and I love you."

"I miss you too and I love you too."

"So, how's my baby?"

"He is also very fine."

"I wish you would have allowed me to come with you."

"You know that's not possible. You can't stay away from your brother even for an hour."

"Hmm. So, how's life?"

"Boring and stressful. And to add to my stress, I am a committee member so that means I would have to look after the arrangements of the upcoming Annual Function."

"Wait. You teach at DPS, right?"

"Yes?" Her statement came out as a question because of the confusion she felt.

"Nothing. Bas aise hi. I have to go now so bub-bye." And without even waiting for Aadhya's response, she cut the call.

Aadhya stared at her phone for a long time and then shook her head, thinking 'ajib ladki hai.'

On the other side, Pallavi was genuinely happy for her brother but worried for her best friend.

She knew that Aadhya would flip if she met him again. And for a fact, she knew that Arhaan wasn't going to leave her alone ever again, if—when—he met her.

Aadhya did not want to see him again, but Arhaan wanted to see her everyday. And he would rather die than let his precious wife escape from his grasp again.

Hell was going to break loose when those two would meet again after almost 4 years.
