Ava Halstead just came back from 2 years as a Marine and is going to firehouse 51 on squad 3 but isn't on the best terms with her brothers because of them not wanting her to be a Marine but she didn't care, she's a lot more like her twin brother Jay...
" is she ok, what happened " He says clearly worried to severide " we both got cruz out, I probably won't have been able to do it on my own." Severide pause " she was fine on the boat just coughing then she just stopped and went quite and floppy. I think she fainted" severide says and gallo slightly nods
" ca.... can we go to the hospital " He says looking at Casey and he nods " yeah, we can. Why don't you hop in the back and sit down " Casey says walking up to him " you're looking a bit pale, sit down " He says again and gallo goes and sits in the truck as everyone else gets everything together
" hey, you good " Stella says hoping in to the truck a few minutes later and looking back at gallo with his head in his hands " yeah I'm fine " He slightly Mumbles and Stella nods as everyone else gets in and they leave to go to the hospital
As 61 and squad pull up to the hospital, everyone gets out quickly and in to see Violet and Brett sitting there
" how are they " severide asks as they all walk over to them " they're OK, cruz has gone up for some tests then will probably be resting, chloe has gone up with him " Brett says looking up at them " and ava " Casey asks " they did a few tests on her but they'll probably do more when she wakes up" Violet then says and everyone turns to her " she's not awake yet " severide asks and they shake they're heads
" she's in treatment room 6, they might want to talk to you guys " Brett says to the 2 lutenents and they nod then walk in to find a doctor
As they walk away gallo goes and sits down as cheif and engine walks in
" what the hell happened " cheif says walking in quickly and everyone stands up but gallo who was zoned out
" we got a call to a lake and we get there to see a bout out on the water " capp says " we go out to look for a man that was trapped but we don't find him at first then we were about to leave but he was in the closest" tony sighs " we get him out then " He looks at capp then back to chief " we all ran out of air then this book shelf just fell " tony looks at capp to finish " we end up getting trapped then we hit the bottom and severide goes down and does something, honestly my not sure what he did but he makes a fire then an explosion" capp says the sighs again " him and Halstead guide us up and we get on the boat, a few minutes later they both come up with cruz unconscious, they're were pull him up and they give him to Casey who did cpr. A minute or 2 later he started coughing " capp says then turns to tony
" when ava came out she was coughing when she got on the boat but as soon as she sees cruz was alright, she just fell or fainted or something we don't really now " tony says then Boden nod then turns to Brett " cruz is fine, resting with chloe and ava hasn't woken up yet " She says and he nods
As ritter hears what happened he immediately turns and sits next to gallo after cheif walks away looking for severide and Casey
" you ok " He asks gallo after a few minutes, gallo slightly nods " yeah " He says " did you see her " Ritter asks as he leans forward to see gallos face and he just nods
After a few minutes gallo speaks up " she looked so cold, so small as severide lifted her to the Ambo "He says and ritter nods " when they were stuck our there I was so scared and when they came out I was fine intill she faints " He says looking at gallo with small tears in his eye as he was about to say something Jay comes in quickly
As he was about to walk in to the ER Stella calls out to him " hey, jay " she says standing up " can you get an update to us about Ava " she says and he nods " yeah sure " he says looking back at her again before walking in
" hey, Will " Jay calls out to his brother who was talking to Boden and severide
" I got here as fast as I could, oh and I picked up some of her clothes " Jay says walking up " she still out but should be awake soon " Will says and Jay nods then looks in to see you on a bed
" can I go in " Jay asks his brother and Will and severide both step aside "yeah sure go ahead " Will says and Jay walks in
A while later
You slowly open your eyes to see your in a hospital, you look over your shoulder to see your alone as you look up again you see your door is slightly opened then Dr Rose walks past, you let out a small cough before calling out to him " Dr.Rose "
He turn back around and in to your room " Halstead, lovely to see you up, how you feeling " He says and you slightly smile " never better " You says straightening yourself up in the bed
" so Dr.Choi and probably you're brother will be down soon so I can stay or maybe I can call some one for 51 that's out side " He says and you think of a few people but you didn't want anyone seeing you like this
" no, you can stay " You say and he nods then sits on the chair next to your bed
" cruz is he OK " You say with a small panic " yeah, yeah he's fine, he's with his wife, chloe I think " He says and you take a deal breath of relief. He looks up at you " are you ok " He says " Yeah all good " You say then Dr.choi, Will and Jay walk in
" hello" Dr.choi says in an obvious good mood " good morning, sleeping beauty" Jay says an you smile at him " so how are you feeling " Dr.choi says putting on his gloves
" not to bad " you say and he nods then looks in his little ipad
" so we have done tests on you " He starts and sits on the end of the bed " there's nothing really wrong but you are a bit weak " He says and you nod confused " what do you mean weak " Jay then says " well it's nothing serious, your a bit dehydrated and could do with a bit more sleep" He says " there was a bit of water in your lounges but nothing serious you're lucky" He smiles " I'm just going to put you on a 10 minute drip then you can be discharged, after a good night rest and a big meal, you should be as good as new " He says then gets up " take it easy " He says walking over to the door " will do doc " you say before he leaves
After your drip and talking to Jay and will for 10 minutes, jay hands you a bag with clothes and you nod then they leave you to get changed
