You and gallo walk in to the locker room to find mouch, Brett and violet

" hey guys" you smile before putting your bag in to your locker " hey" violet smiles back " does anyone find it weird that carver has been here for 2 months and yet no one knows anything about him" mouch says and you all slightly nod " yeah he's pretty closed off" you say as you start to put you hair in braids

" hey look" gallo says looking at carver's locker that was slightly open and he slowly opens it with his foot trying to not make a sound

" don't do that, invasion of privacy" Brett says looking at him " come on there's no privacy anymore" he says looking back to the locker

" any pictures" you ask and he shakes his head
" I see deodorant, change of clothes but no pictures" gallo says before slowly closing it again " could be a serial killer for all we know" mouch says making you slightly laugh

" we'll keep an eye on him mouch" you say patting his shoulder before you all get a call and you guys run off

Tony pulls up to a jewellery shop fire and people where out side picking things up

You guys run over thinking they were hurt but find them picking small diamonds off the ground

" Halstead, Capp and Tony get these people off to the side" severide yells and you guys go over and get most of them away

You walk up to one of the last and you touch is shoulder slightly trying to get him to listen

" you gotta go there's been some kinda bomb inside" you say but he turns around and pushes you away but he's elbow lands on your face making you fall back slightly before catching yourself

Capp who see this comes over quickly
" come on get outa here" he grabs his had pulling him away " shit" you say touching the side of you face

" Halstead you and Cruz in with me" severide says and you nod before putting you mask on

You guys walk in and you could tell the fire had been on for awhile from all the dark smoke, you guys walk in further

" hey severide found someone" you say as you get to him coughing and they both come over

" one male victim coming out" severide says through his radio as you guys help him up and he walks with both severide and Cruz at his side

You walk out to squad and take your mask off before severide throws you a water " thanks" you say taking a sip " I know you've done some stuff with arson, yous even anything in there" he asks and you think to yourself " how it started no but why it started, it's a Jewellery store with thousands of dollars worth, who ever it was probably wanted the money" you say and he nods " well all that's gone anyways, people got most of it" he says and you nod as he walks away to talk to the police

You put your hand up to your face again that was still slightly stinging before just trying to forget about it

" squad let's go" severide yells and you guys all get in

You get out of the truck before spotting Chloe

" hey" you smile hugging her " hey Ava" you see documents him her hand so you assume she here to talk to Cruz " I'll see you" you say walking and she nods

You walk in to gallo and Ritter reading magazine which was new but you took no notice to it " anyone hungry" you ask and everyone looks up to you " what the hell happened to your eye" gallo asks getting up
" why what's there" you ask touching it again
" don't touch it, it's all red and swollen" he says and Capp comes in " oh yeah that's what happens when you get an elbow to the face" Capp says and you glare at him " who elbow you" he asks " a guy on the scene" you say and he nods

" we'll sit and get some ice on it before it bruises" he says grabbing an ice pack from the freezer and trowing it to you " no I'm hungry, I gotta make something" you say bet he shakes his head " nah I'll make it" he says before starting to make a sandwich for you

You eat it before chief comes in " I wanna see you all" he says and you nod fallowing behind him and in to the briefing room

" what's up chief"Stella asks as her and severide walks in " that jewellery store, they're coming after the cfd with their lawyers" he says making you all slightly shocked " for what" severide asks " negligence and Direction of duty" he says making you all complain

" the claims are that we are responsible for the lose in jewels, potentially totalling in the lose of millions" he finishes and you all start complaining again " that's A load of bs chief" carver says straight out " we got those looters out as fast as we could, we had a fire to deal with" severide says as you all nod agreeing " he didn't even want us putting water on the fire chief" Herman says angrily " I know but this isn't going to go away on it's own so ima need detailed statements from all of you" he says and you all nod " no problem chief" you guys say and he nods before walking out

You walk back out to the kitchen before getting a glass of water " hey squad I want those statements by end of shift" severide says and you nod " I'll get it done Lieutenant" you say walking out to the squad table

You finish it up soon, and the rest of shift was quite,

" I am so ready to go home" you say walking in to the locker room to find violet " hey" you smile before putting on your jacket " hi, also what happened to your eye, never asked you" she says as you guys walk out together " today at the scene, got an elbow. Not to bad" you say and she nods " keep an eye on it tho" she says as she walks to her car " yeah I'll make sure to call for help if my black eye gets to bad" you laugh slightly mocking her

" bye" she laughs getting in her car and you doing the same but waiting for gallo

" hey" gallo gets in the driver seat throwing his bag to the backseat " hi" you smile and he gives you a quick kiss before starting the car " so me, mouch and Ritter are gonna go to this bar tonight because we wanna you know see carver outside of work and that so you could come with us are I know how much you love planing the wedding so you could do a bit of that" he says as he starts driving " yeah, I'll stay home don't feel like going out" you say and he nods before playing a bit of music

As you guys get home you make a bit of dinner and you guys eat it before gallo goes up to get ready and you just change in to pjs, which was shorts and one of his hoodies

" be careful, and don't get drunk cos we got shift tomorrow" you say kissing him and he nods " love you" he yells as he goes out the door " love you too" you say just as he closes it

You spend the rest of the evening wedding planning and you watch half of a movie before your hear keys at the door " hey" you say as you see gallo

" what the hell" you get up as you see him with a little blood on the side of his face and his knuckles a small bit bruised

" yeah let's just say carvers friends are a lot of fun" he says sarcastically " are Ritter and mouch alright" you ask and he nods " yeah both look something like me" he says and you take him to the bathroom to get clean up

He explains everything that happened and you call both Ritter and mouch to make sure they're ok " ok everyone fine, now it's late and I'm tired so please get in bed" he complains and you nod getting in

" I love you" you smile " love you too" he says kissing you before falling asleep soon after
