Not long after Conner comes out to jay and Will
" hey guys" he says and they both stand up quickly " how is she" jay asks
" the surgery went well, she's in recovery" he says and they both nod " how'd she get the bleed" Will asks and Conner immediately thinks of the baby
" em she was pregnant guys" he says and both they're eyes widen " what...." Jay asks and Conner nods " the father" Will asks but Conner shook his head " sorry guys it's not my place to say but she lost the baby" he says and they both slightly nod " but she's ok right" jay asks and he nods again " yeah she's fine, you guys can see her soon but you guys can go down stairs in the waiting room because she's not in surgery but I'll come get you guys when you can see her" he says and they both nod
They both come down and everyone stands up as they see them both gallo who was completely zoned out
" she's out of surgery going to be fine but did you guys know she was pregnant" jay says and they nod " yeah we found out earlier" Stella says " yeah well the baby didn't make it through the surgery" Will says and everyone nods
That was the first time gallo had officially heard that his baby didn't make it so as he hears his head immediately goes up then as he hears it he gets up and walks out of the hospital quickly but Ritter fallows him
"Gallo wait" he says running out at gallo slightly stops " what" he says not even turning around " where are you going, you have to stay here until she wakes up" Ritter says and gallo finally turns around facing him
" why would I be in there when I can't even be upset about finding out my child didn't make it, I can't sit there in front of her brothers and 51 and act normal" he says with tears in his eye turning around again " so you're just going to leave her here" Ritter says and gallo stops again " no I'll be back but could you just give me 20 minutes "he say and Ritter nods as he watches him walk away
Gallo ends up walking to the lake you guys had the water rescue a few weeks ago and just looks out as he thinks back at everything that has happened in the last few hours
He goes the your house after and gets you something for when you wake up
He walks back in to the hospital before sitting next to severide
" you guys hear anything" he asks and severide shakes his head " no but jay and will have gone up" he says and gallo slightly nods
A few minutes later severide speaks up
" you and her are together aren't you" he says and gallo looks up at him then looks down again and slightly nods " yeah" he says before leaning forward and putting his head in his hands as severide puts his hand on his shoulder
" you should go up there" severide says after a while " I'll leave them another few minutes then I might go up" gallo says and he slightly nods
You slowly wake up to see jay and Will at you sides
" hey" you say and they both look up at you " you're awake" jay says and Will checks your monitors
You close your eyes slightly " you ok" jay asks and you nod " yeah just tired" you say and they nod " is my boyfriend here" you say with a small smile and they both look up at you
" who?" Will asks " my boyfriend" you say again " we didn't know you had a boyfriend" jay say and you slightly laugh with your small cough " he's really sweet guys, you guys will like him" you smile again and they smile back at you
" what's his name we'll check if he's out there" Will says " Blake gallo" you say and they both nod before walking out to find him
They end up meeting him in the hallway
" oh sorry I was just going to check how she was doing" gallo says as he see them " yeah she's awake, asking for you" jay says with a smile " oh yeah" gallo says awkwardly " take care of her man" will says putting his shoulder before they both walk away
He looks back at them confused before walking to your room
He opens the door quietly and you don't know he's even there
" hey" he says walking up to your bed " hi" you turn around and see he has your favourite fluffy blanket he got for you a while ago
He gives it to you happily " thank you" you smile " do you remember what happened" he says sitting down and you slightly nod
" Blake" you say " yeah" he responds " the baby" you ask and he slightly sits back before shaking his head
You feel yourself start to cry and you could tell he has been crying
" hey its ok" he slightly grabs your hand placing a small kiss on it " I'm sorry" you say but he shakes his head again " no it's not your fault, you're ok that's all that matters right now" he says trying to Comfort you and you slightly nod
" I love you" you slightly smile " I love you too" he smiles kissing your forehead lightly " oh and did you tell jay and Will, you know about everything" he asks and you slightly nod
" 51 kinda figured in out too" he says and you nod " they here" you ask and he nods
"Want to see them" he asks but you shake your head " no maybe in a little bit" you smile and he nods then Conner comes in
" hey, Dr. Conner Rose" you say joking as he smiles
No one really knows but you and Conner had gotten really close from being at Mollys together obviously just as friends
" hey how you feeling" he asks and you sit up slightly
" better just a little sore" you say and he nods
" so your surgery get well and sorry about the baby but when you got to the hospital there was nothing we could do" he says and you nod
" but you've been recovering well" he says and you nod again with a small smile " so you should be out in the next few days" he says " when will she be back at work" gallo asks and you turn your head " it all depends on recovery but I would say in the next 2 weeks or maybe 3" he says and you nod
" how your head, we wrapped it up but it was quiet a deep cut and probably will bruise" he says " a little sore but nothing to bad" you say and he nods " you have a lot of visitors down stairs" he says and you slightly laugh
" they can come up, obviously if they want" you smile and he nods " yeah I'll go get them" he says walking out
They all come in and Herrman comes to you first " hey Halstead" he says and hugs you
" hey" you say with a smile
Every one comes in and they all stay there for maybe an hour then they leave to let you have some rest
" thanks for coming guys" you smile " of course, call if you need anything" severide says and you say thanks before they all leave then you look over at gallo who was nearly asleep on the chair
" go home" you say and he looks up at you and he shakes his head trying to wake up " what" he says " go home and to sleep" you say but he shakes his head " no, no I'll stay, I'll sleep here" he says getting comfortable in the chair and you slightly laugh " you sure" you say and he nods
You both end up falling asleep soon after
