You walk out of the locker room with gallo and Stella comes over to you guys

" meeting" she says and you nod and fallow her where everyone else was waiting for boden

" ok we got a lot to discuss" chief says walking and says a few things " ok dismissed," he says walking out and you  nod

" me and Ritter on breakfast, making eggs" gallo announces " great let me know when they're done" cap says leaving the room and you follow the guys to the kitchen

" need a hand" you ask and gallo shakes his head while cracking an egg on the stove
" no we're all good" he says turning to Ritter and he just nods " perfect so I'm gonna relax" you say and just as you were about to sit down both gallo and Ritter look at you

" could you" gallo motions to the eggs because truck and engine just got a call
" yeah see ya" you smile and gallo kisses your cheek before running off

You mumble to yourself before going in to the kitchen

They come back soon and you give a few people who actually wanted them eggs

" here you go" you smile hand both gallo and Ritter a plate " thank you" they both say

As you were eating with them severide comes in " Halstead I gotta head out so your in charge for a bit" he says and you nod " sure" you say and he runs off

Your phone starts ringing randomly as you were sitting on the couch and both gallo and Ritter asks from the kitchen " who's that" gallo asks and you shake your head " I don't know" you say standing up and facing them before answering it

" Ava Halstead speaking" you say " hello Ava, it's Ellen the house owner" you hear through the phone " oh yes hi" you say " so I just talked to the bank and everything's set, we would love if you and your fiancée can stop over tomorrow to sing the papers" the older woman says and you smile " yes perfect we'll be there, thank you so much" you say and she slightly laughing
" no problem, I'll see you tomorrow" she says before hanging up

You smile at the two boys who was looking at you confused " we have papers to sing tomorrow for the house" you smile and gallos eyes widen " really" he asks and you nod
" great" he smiles " I know" you say back and he nods before going back to cleaning up

You walk out and in to the bonk room trying to get to the lockers but you pass severide as he gives both Capp and Tony an order

You cringe thinking he was going to ask you to help but he shakes his head " nah your good, Capp and Tony got this" he says and you nod and slightly laugh as Capp starts complaining as you walk away

You get to the locker room to fix your braids in your hair

The rest of the day you and Cruz spent it out sitting at the squad table planning dumb games and as it gets dark you all get a call and leave quickly

You trow on your gear quickly before you guys leave to a theatre fire

You all get there it see it's a huge building

" shit" you mumble to yourself " squad two people tapped down stairs" chief yells and you all get ready to go in

You and the rest of squad go in first and Guide a few people out before severide motions to fallow him down a few stairs

" one minute, it's not looking good from out here" you hear chief say through the radio as you guys find people behind a door

Soon you hear Stella yelling through her radio
" gallos down, mayday I'll repeat gallos down" she says and you slightly look back at where you guys came from " Halstead come on, I'm sure he's fine" severide says and you nod fallowing them further

You guys get the door open and you have the woman slightly resting on your shoulder as you bring her up the stairs

" where's Kidd and gallo" severide asks mouch and you immediately stop handing the woman off to Cruz who brought her all the way out

" guys I found gallo, coming out" Stella says through the radio and you sigh in relief and walk out with severide and a few others

" everyones out, all fire fighters clear" herrman tells chief and you go up to gallo

" you good" you ask him and he nods holding his shoulder slightly " you gotta get it checked out" you say and he nods again but then chief yells over the radio but you guys look over to where bricks started to come down and you guys notice that chief Hawkins was in under all of it

You guys run over quickly trying to get both Hawkins and the man that he was saving out

As you all Tower on top trowing block by black you accidentally drop a heavy one on your foot but slightly mumble from the pain then get it off your leg again and started getting more blocks off not even noticing the pain that was coming from your now bleeding foot

As you guys start see the both of them you turn to violet immediately and hug her shielding her from the look of her boyfriend

She was shaking in your hands and you could tell she was panicking and as they pull Hawkins lifeless body out she immediately pushes you away getting closer and in to do cpr

You just look at the poor girl as she tries doing cpr on her boyfriend as she cries

Chief grads violet away as a few of the firefighters grab Hawkins on the stretcher bringing him off the street

You go over to gallo and grad his hand before wrapping yourself in it not wanting to see the heart breaking sense in front of you

They take him away in an ambulance and violet goes with, so all that was left was squad, truck and engine

You guys get everything cleaned up but you sit at the squad door slightly waiting as you could practically still hear violets sobs

" we'll head out, it's end of shift now anyways" severide says and you all nod and leave
