Chapter 26

Ashley's Pov

A loud ringing wakes me up from my very nice sleep.

Without checking the Caller ID I pick the call up but nothing.

Dead silence.

I check the ID and its Kylee.

"Hello? Kylee? What's wrong? It's almost 12 AM," I say.

And then after a moment of silence.

"Happy birthday Ash!! I love you so much and i hope i can make your birthday better. I can't believe you're eighteen already. My baby grew up so fast," She says with a fake sob.

I didn't even know it was my birthday.

Then suddenly my whole phone starts blowing up and I'm shocked.

Shocked that people remembered my birthday.

"Thank you so much Keels, I love you so much," I say.

"Of course my love. Ill pick you up tomorrow at 8, I'm taking you out then throwing you a party," She says.

"You don't have to, but a party does sound pretty great."

"Sounds good babes. I can't believe you turned eighteen without me!" She whines.

I chuckle and respond, "Alright, bye my love, ill see you tomorrow."

I start going through my text messages.

I got a message from Tyler, Xavier, Jake, Ella, a few of my other friends, even Nick but not Aaron..

I keep refreshing my phone frantically but no, nothing.

Ugh why am I so bothered that he didn't wish me?

His own mother did, but not him.

This whole week went by really quickly.

My relationship with Tyler has gotten better, we spend a lot of time together which is good.

On the other hand Aaron seems to be ignoring me.

He has been hanging out with Kailani alot.

I sigh and fall back asleep, deciding to reply the messages tomorrow.

The next morning I wake up really early and by six I'm already done showering.

I go to my closet to pick out my outfit. Since I'm not really going anywhere right now, I decide on wearing baggy jeans with a really cute crop top.

Over the past couple of days I tried rearranging my room and now it actually looks pretty alright.

I put on some rings and two necklaces with matching earrings.
