The stone slabs sat in front of him.

Trees warped around them, and a well-dressed man leant against one of the pillars, a smirk masking unknown motives.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Beyond this door you will see everything you will ever need."

He had his suspicions- after all, these stone slabs weren't usually along the forest route, but something in the man's voice was comforting.

Tempting, even.

Everything you will ever need.

The words echoed in his mind, and he inched forward towards the stone doors, a stygian abyss within its perimeter. There were a few speckles of light dotted around, however, and it made him wonder.

Diamonds? Gold?

One foot entered the void, and all that could be felt was cold.

The other passed through, the doors disappearing behind him. Regret instantly came over him.

He floated aimlessly and, without any oxygen, died soon after, the last image going through his mind:

Earth.
