Chapter two: Yours truly

It was a beautiful island, you had admired it. But not for too long because you then felt a hand on your shoulder, "It's nice isn't it?" You turned to see the guy from earlier and jumped a little. You hummed in response and his face turned into realization making you confused. "I just realized I didn't tell you my name!" He had exclaimed and panicked but it wasn't like you wanted it.

"My name is Griffin Turner, the master of speed!" He had proudly announced and you now had to tell him yours. "My name is Y/n L/n, master of Blood manipulation." Turner turned confused, you guessed that he didn't know what you were trying to say. "It lets me take control of who ever or whatever when I want." You had explained easily enough for him to understand but it did take a while for him.

"That's super cool!" He looked at you with excitement and admired you. Then two men had put down a plank for us to cross on while talking, "Welcome to Chen's Island. The tournament of elements welcomes its brave fighters." He had exaggerated the brave a little but then turned to us as we exited the boat. "Master Chen will be pleased you've returned." Clouse had said to Garmadon making you guess that these two had a back story.

"The pleasure is all mine Clouse." Garmadon had said trying not to show much emotion to not amuse Clouse. You then walked away from Turner to Cole. Cole then turned from a calm look to a concerned look, "I and the guys are only here to look for Zane, and I'm guessing you're here for the same reason. But you can't get distracted, keep your head in the game. If you fall in love with him and then refuse to later on fight him, we are going to have a big problem."

Cole had commented making you shocked as you two walked off the boat. "I met this dude an hour ago! Literally, plus he is the one trying to get close to me, not my fault." You had said but then saw that Cole had squinted his eyes in a way to show that he will be watching me but you just rolled your eyes. You two had then caught up to the rest as they were asking Sensai Garmadon thousands of questions. As you were walking with them you noticed the girl walking far behind us.

You had taken this time to say hi and probably say sorry for your friend's ignorance. Once the guys had become too loud you had back up to the girl. She immediately noticed you and smiled. "I just wanted to say sorry for my friend, he can get worked up, and get out of hand." You apologized as she chuckled. "He already said sorry, his name was Kai right? My name is Skylor, nice to meet you." She had said and was surprised that Kai already said sorry.

"Mines Y/n L/n, master of Emerge, nice to meet you as well." You said as you sheepishly chuckled making her smile. As we were speeding up to the guys Kai turns around to see Skylor and immediately pushes the rest to the side. "Lady's first!" He exclaimed as Skylor just laughed as you saw the rest of their faces. You had tried to hold in your laughter but failed as you looked back at them as they all glared at Kai.

Soon we made it to the entrance of this palace and were then guided by Clouse into the main room. Once there we all sat down on the floor waiting for the arrival of Chen, sitting awkwardly. And conveniently you had to be seated right next to Turner and Cole. "Who do you think is going to win this tournament?" Turner questioned and you sighed as you shrugged. Turner was ready to say something back but was interrupted by the one and only Master Chen.

We all had to stand up and then sit back down once Chen was shown. "Welcome to the Tournament of Elements. Now everyone can die." He had exclaimed making everyone turn in shock as the doors behind closed shut. "Direct your attention to me." Chen then manically laughed as he saw all of your faces being shocked.

"Never before have so many elemental fighters been under one roof!" He excitedly explained as we all sat down from his recent theatrics. "I see the master of Fire, Earth, Shadow, Speed, even a prophesied green savior." As they were all being called on they smiled and then stared at Lloyd for the concluding part.

"And I former pupil has returned," He said while exaggerating and pretending to care. "This symbol before you is for the Anacondrai, the fiercest serpentine warrior to ever roam this land. Its creed: Only one can remain." He had explained as he pointed at the gong as the soldier played it. It then revealed a board of our future matches.

You turned relieved once you noticed that you were in your bracket. You were up to a girl with green hair and very beautiful makeup. "Behold, a jade blade." He had pointed to Clouse as he opened a barrel to reveal a beautiful nice that was green with all types of patterns. "Here it represents life, obtain it, move on. Allow your opponent to take it, Loser. The rules are simple. Every match will be the same. No two fighters will be the same. Your powers will keep you in the tournament. Use it or lose it!" Chen had explained easily.

But soon Karlof had stepped in, "What does Karlof win?". Chen then turned to him and answered his question. "Win and stay on the island. Win it all, and you'll receive fortunes beyond your wildest dreams, and a lifetime supply of Master Chen noodles." He said happily as he spun around.

"But you should be wanting the title of becoming the greatest fighter in Ninjago!!!" He had exclaimed as we all clapped and cheered. "And what happens if they lose?" Garmadon asked before you. "Lose? Who here likes to lose?" As the rest laughed at his 'foolishness'. "Now please, enjoy my island, It's a super fun happy place! Fun time on me!" Chen had said while returning to his chair.

"You'll now each be shown to your rooms." Clouse had announced as Chen finally stopped talking. He then clapped and a bunch of women come out with beautiful makeup and outfit. But once they had stopped circling us, they grabbed us firmly and started to drag us toward our rooms. But when we were up the flights of stairs we heard Garmadon say something but couldn't translate.

And soon the woman dragging you had stopped.

"Your room Lady L/n."
