It is believed that the creator of the universe, Brahma ji was born from the navel. Yes, the creator of the universe, Brahma ji was originated from the lotus that emerged from the navel of Lord Vishnu. When he was born, he looked around, because of which he got four faces.

In Indian philosophy, behind the name of Brahma ji, the use of the word 'Brahma' has been explained for the nirgun formless and omnipresent conscious power. Being full of all qualities, he is called by the name Brahma. Brahma ji rides on a swan, so he is also called by the name of swan.

According to Shivpuran, Brahmaji tells his son Naradji that after creating Vishnu, Sadashiv and Shakti created me (Brahmaji) from their right limb after trying to reverse and immediately put me in the navel lotus of Vishnu. In this way, I Hiranyagarbha (Brahma) was born as a son from that lotus.
