꧁꧂

I have no pockets
No luck left in my bucket;
Hope running out like a faucet;
Cup unsealed by my own asset

Yes, I wanted some
I dreamed terror be gone
But I have no pockets
So he called us done

He wasn't mine to keep
Got me crawling in such a heap
What's the feeling when you sleep?
Solace was never mine to reap

I have no pockets
But some girls do
Yet they have no clue,
How safe they are from blue

They know haven's place
Can keep their heart unfazed;
Best possessions at every pace;
Have weaved perfect lifelong lace

They give and give their all
Yet they never get to crawl
They have pockets;
Never been soggy nor small

Girls don't always get pockets
Like me, they beg for convenience
But why, some still have patience;
Ne'er complain, nor stay in silence

They speak, they fight;
Learnt to keep love in sight;
Have kept their lover in light
Despite having no pockets of blight

Love always spills as it should
I'd buy romance if I could
But I have no pockets
So I'll hide beneath my hood
