I dreamed of a dream
That suffice the need to go
Something beyond to uphold
Whether it lures me depth or none

I dreamed of castles
To live not in luxury
But in the least of homelessness
And grasp refuge on all days

I dreamed of beige
To see things in the light of calmness;
The simplicity of being alone
And the fairness of all things plain

I dreamed terror be gone
And live with the feeling of nothingness
Not nothingness to emptiness
But o—to feel comfort and content

I dreamed for the truth
To know the worth of madness;
What lies behind my thoughts
O, to reap all the answers

I dreamed of home
The arousal scent of familiarity
As though baked a long time ago
Yet unhinged for the times it'd be open

I dreamed of love
The excitement of a loved one;
How they gave me kindness and hope
When I had nothing in my cup

I dreamed of a life
That's full of light and peace
Heaped by nothing but solace
And graced by the beauty of living
