On a trip to the White Room, a young Sakayanagi Arisu catches sight of a young boy, with a bored expression effortlessly defeating his peers in a game of chess. Intrigued, the young Sakayanagi makes her way over to her father, with the sound of her cane tapping the ground with each step she takes. Once she reaches her destination, she asks her father, Narumori Sakayanagi,
"Father. That young boy down there, what is his name?" She cheerfully asked.
The middle aged man looks down to his adorable daughter, then to the window, and replies,
"Ah, that is Kiyotaka Ayanokouji! He's actually Master Ayanokouji's son. Why the ask?" The man kneeled down to his daughter's level.
"He'a nothing more than a false genius, I presume? To be born in this place and survive, I'd assume he was blessed with incredible genes." Arisu responded, smiling.
"Ah? I suppose so... However, his past results show he was lacking in many subjects. Before he made the sudden boost to where he is now, known as the best." The older man replied as he flipped through the page book in his hand. Once he found the page he desired, he handed it to his daughter. After examining the page, Arisu hands the book back, and states,
"I wish to learn the game Chess, and in one month time, face off Ayanokouji. I will prove he is nothing more than a false genius."
Narumori thinks to himself: "What a bold declaration." but leaves it be, assuming she's developing some superiority complex.
"You wish to learn chess? Because of Kiyotaka?" The father asked.
"Indeed." She said with a chuckle. (Her famous 'fufufu'!)

Arisu makes her way back to the window, and observes the boy and his matches against the other children.
"...Father, he's rather cute." Arisu blurted out, surprising her father and herself. How could she say such a thing at 6 years old?
"A crush on him already?" Her father teased, prompting Arisu to blush intensely while denying everything.
Her heart did something funny...
Arisu calms down, and continues her observation of the young boy. Now that she's gotten a better look, his brunette parted hair, his shining brown eyes, all of him, it's screaming perfect to her. He could do better showing emotions though...

"Father, why is Ayanokouji showing no emotion? No sign of struggle?" Arisu asked as she contemplated her question. Her father responded,
"I suppose it's due to his living environment, the other kids show emotions though... I shouldn't be telling you this, but truly, I despise this place and its morals." He quietly said as he sat down on the chair in the room they reside in.
"How sad... Don't worry, Father. I will burn this place down for you, and teach that boy emotions." She declares.
"You really are head over heels for him, huh?" He genuinely asked, looking down to her with squinted eyes. Once again, Arisu denies everything with a red face.

The Sakayanagi's would later leave the facility known as the "White Room". Arisu intends to keep her promise, she will beat Kiyotaka Ayanokouji.
