(Bro, at the time of writing this I got #1 on the Arisu tag u all the goats fr)

(Ayanokouji POV)

Waiting for Arisu truly was a pain in the ass.

"Do girls usually take this long to get ready?"
I asked myself with a small sigh. She's still in the bathroom, probably doing her makeup or something. Whatever it is females do.

Arisu had set me up on this date, looking back on it, she lured me in. I'm shocked I didn't realize it. Which is odd, considering I'm usually aware of such things. Is it that feeling I've been feeling with her? What even is that feeling? Whenever I feel it, it feels like my heart rate gets faster, it feels like my face gets red. What is that?

It's certainly not something the White Room taught me.

Arisu finally exited the bathroom, and greeted me. It was kind of odd not seeing her with a cane. Anytime she's crossed my mind since the day she came to visit, I've always thought of her as the "girl with a cane".

"Hello, Kiyotaka." She calmly said, waving her hand at me.
"Hello." I said back with a nod. She's really beautiful. Should I compliment her? I read online that it's good to compliment a beautiful girl.

"You look good." I said. That should be good enough.
"Ah, well, you're quite the eye-candy yourself~" Arisu said back to me. She had this smug expression on her face.
She was truly adorable. Her lilac hair, which was put into a half bun updo really suit her. Her violet eyes were charming, they seemed to be shining.

Me? I'm wearing a red hoodie and black jeans. My curtained hair doesn't even look good, and I look homeless as shit. Oh God... do I stink?

Anyway, she takes my hand in hers, and I don't reject it. The two of us began walking to her limo, which would be taking us to our date place. Arisu chose an amusement park, saying she's always wanted to go on the Ferris wheel, but due to her disability, was never able to.
(A/N: she lying fr)

On the car ride there, we make plan things out, like where to go first, what we'll buy, and how to spend our time there as efficiently as possible.

"I never knew you were an amazing planner, Kiyo." Arisu brought up out of nowhere. She looked up to me, and had a soft smile.

"I was taught many things in 'that place', of course I'm good at such things." I responded. Wait, was I too cold with that response? Was I coming off as rude? Why do I care? Why am I overthinking this all?

"Are you excited?" I asked, wanting to talk with her more. Some part of me finds her voice soothing.

"Of course I am. I've been dreaming of this moment since I was 8. Nothing could make me more ecstatic than this." Arisu replied in her usual boldness. That part of her was always cool to see.
I'm glad I'm the reason for her happiness.

The two of us stayed silent the rest of the car ride. However, I could feel her occasionally glancing at me. I wanted to talk to her, but nothing came to mind. Should I bring up a word chain game? No. Those are only for when you have absolutely nothing to talk about! Which uhhh, I don't have anything to talk about.

Alas, we made it to the amusement park, "Kiyo Park". Huh, her nickname for me was "Kiyo". Coincidences can be freaky.
We both exited the car, I helped her out of her seat.
