           Dunia saari chhad ke chaleya,
           Teriyan raahan teriyan galiyan,
Tere sadd ke sab main waareya.
Jis din se tu sanu mileya,
           Main tere piche piche turreya,
           Tere saddke sab main waareya.

                  VANSH RAGUVANSHI

I punched the code opening my mansion. As I entered inside a melodious sound hitted my eardrum.

"Bade achche lagte hain
Yeh dharti, yeh nadiya, yeh raina
Hum tum kitne paaaaas hain
Kitne door hain chaand sitare
Sach poochho to man ko
Jhoote lagte hain yeh saare
Magar sachche lagte hain
Yeh dharti, yeh nadiya, yeh raina
Aur, tum"

I followed the sound to find the blue cladded enchantress in the kitchen.

I rested my body on the wall watching her humming the melody.

"Where were you last night?" She asked without bothering to look up.

"And why are you home so early?" She looked up and frowned.

What could I say? That I couldn't bear the constant urge of my heart for one glimpse of yours. I was dieing to be around you.

This girl had made me crazy!!

My eyes fell on the vegetables she was cutting.

"Tum khana bana rahi ho?" I asked.

(You are cooking food?)

"Nahi nach rahi hu." Her lips formed a thin line.

(No I am dancing.)

"God Amour what a seen it will be," I said with a hint of mischief.

"You....," Her nostrils flared.

"Go and atleast change your clothes." She shoved the knife towards the door.

I threw my hand in defeat and went to my room.

I quickly changed into a pair of black track pants and black shirt. I rushed to the kitchen.

"Slow down Vansh." She blessed me with her melodious laugh.

A beat skipped in my heart.

"Why are you cooking?" I slouched on the chair infront of the kitchen island.

"Mausi's son's health was really bad. So I offered to cook so that she can go home early." She added the paneer cubes in the gravy.

"You could have just asked her to inform me. I would have ordered something."

"I wanted to cook." She shrugged.

My lips curled into a smile. Isn't she the one who had said she only cooks at her home.
