when my hands would cup
the lightest breath
of our little angel
on our first years together
Remind me of the last time
I ever held a hand so tender
Like a morning kiss on a stormy day
when everything else was not right
Remind me one last time
why you're still worthy
of all the love in the world
when all my world has died
one night on a summer storm
For I am reminded
With all the raindrops and tears
on that cursed night
why I am never again
worthy of a child's lost love
