If I have met my younger self
I would tell her she is enough
I would tell her she is loved
I would tell her it is okay
She will be okay
Maybe when she realizes this
She won't find comfort in your lies
She won't find comfort in your easy words
And she won't settle for the first man that shows her affection
Maybe then she won't settle for less than the bare minimum
