The scientists think they might be able to find a way around our differences and making it so we can interact with them on a daily basses. Another goal is to help fulfill our blood lust. The scientists haven't progressed to a cure of some sort. I have lived here in these laboratory village with other vamps ever since I can remember. Life seems being boring in this environment. With this regular route to go to the laboratory, training center, school, free time, and curfew. So if you don't follow your schedule and misbehave. Basically step out of line and you get shoot. Fun right, that's the regular thing around here.

It's not that boring though with our 40 ac-ears o land to roam with one main road running though this town and out to the main gate, the separation between the two worlds. We have occasional visitors that come to see our world. Most of us avoid them, mainly me. Which puts the thousands of soldiers on edge. They mainly visit the laboratory and testing labs. Not the abandoned hotels that we live in. I also try to avoid the police and a lot of other people. Less chances of problems and less people to explain myself to. We have to report to them every week and every day. We all live with elder vamps that some consider family, but to orphans like me they're just assigned group of people.

I know these people don't love me. They just don't want to get in trouble and that's why they are such strict parents. The family that I once had has never been there for me. This fake family told me that they abandoned me as a baby. This one thing, just doesn't match up. These dreams where I see these smiling faces where we are all laughing and I'm smiling. That seems like a faraway place because I rarely smile. It continues on in this happy place that feels like home. The warm colors surround me. Then it all comes to end. This fairy tale like place is interrupted with this darkness or a villain. That came and took them away from me. I awoke angry with whatever or whoever took them away. Then I remind myself that it was just a dream even though it felt like so much more to me.

That might be why I have been so focused on my Kara-ta and training. I spend many hours of my daily life training to keep up my strength. We have these few matches throughout the year. You don't usually get to use these tools outside of training. I was able to use it once. Once I used it on a kid Salem who was picking on Joyce. I got in between them and ended the fight. I told Joyce to run away. I took care of Salem.
